The Aces drew first blood when Jimmy Duffy defeated Chris McCrory in straight frames. David Calderwood levelled it at 1-1 when he beat Darren Gilmore also in straight frames. The Slemish went 2-1 up when Ryan Logan defeated Martin Hill by a 2-1 scoreline. The Aces once again levelled the score when Chris Dickson beat Gregory Shaw 2-1.In the fifth game K.D. Crabbe put the Aces into the lead when he beat Paul Bates by a 2-0 scoreline. In the final game Rodney Fleck made it 3-3 when he had a walkover as the Aces only had five men.

The away side took the first game when George McCullough beat Ross Hill 2-1. May Barr levelled the match when she beat Justin Kilpatrick by a 2-1 score line. In the third game Ritchie Irwin had a straight frames win over Adam Gordon and in the fourth game Derek Dunlop also had a win in straight frames over Richard Turtle. In the fifth game Dennis Keenan pulled one back for the Sports by defeating Paul Hayes by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Robert Graham made it 4-2 for the Fairhill by beating Richard Campbell in straight frames.

Michelin Masters 5 - 1 Connollys A
Drew Sloan got the Masters off to a good start when he beat Martin O'Loughlin in straight frames. Alan Armstrong doubled the score when he beat Sean Donnelly by a 2-1 scoreline. The next three games were all won in straight frames the Masters winners were Rick McMaster, Brian Hanna and David Armstrong who beat Davy Cummins, John Walker and Joey McNally respectively, to make the score 5-0 for Michelin. In the final game Alan Smyth saved Connollys A from the whitewash when he beat Harry Eagleson in straight frames for a final score of 5-1 for Michelin.

Coach Bar 2 - 4 Social Cobwebs
Darren Magee put the Cobwebs ahead when he beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames. In the second game Ricky McNeill defeated Paul Gray by a 2-1 scoreline and in the third game the Cobwebs made it 3-0 when Chris McGaughey defeated Paul Shaw by a 2-1 score line. In the fourth game the Coach pulled one back when Billy Andrews beat Peter Dickson 2-1 after losing the first frame. The Coach got another one back after Aaron Irwin had a straight frames win over Stephen Holmes to make the score 3-2 for the Cobwebs. In the final game Jimmy Knowles had a 2-1 win over Philip McAllister after coming from one down to leave the final score 4-2 for the Cobwebs.

Diamond Bar 4 - 2 Horse and Jockey
Damian White got the home team into the lead when he beat Johnny Laing in straight frames. Mark Davidson levelled the match by beating Adrian Mann by a 2-1 scoreline after losing the first frame. The Diamond went back into the lead again by winning the next two games without losing a frame there winners being Declan Heggarty and Brendan O'Mullan who beat Dean Hill and Sam McCalmont for a 3-1 lead for the Diamond. Henry Butler pulled one back for the Jockey when he beat Chris Gordon in straight frames. In the final game Ian Boal defeated Gary Hillis 2-0 for a 4-2 win for the Diamond Bar.

Brett McLaughlin got the B team the lead when he beat Lee Wright by a 2-1 scoreline. Pat McAnally made it two when he beat Gary Ormandy in straight frames. In the third game Ryan Foster had a 2-1 win over Gareth Rowe to make the score 3-0 for Connollys. In the fourth game Dessie Cooper pulled one back for Michelin when he defeated Dean Dunlop by a 2-1 scoreline. In the fifth game Alan Davidson restored the three game difference with a win in straight frames and in the final game Phil Houston pulled another game back when he beat Barry McLarnon also in straight frames for a final score of 4-2 for Connollys B.
