Result's - Week 11 - Tuesday 22nd January 2013


Michelin Masters 3-3 Fairhill Hustlers

The Fairhill got off to a good start when Ritchie Irwin had a win in straight frames over David Armstrong. In the second game Justin Kilpatrick doubled the score to 2-0 for the Hustlers when he had to come from being a frame down to win 2-1 against Jimmy Knowles. Things  looked even worse for Michelin when they also lost the third game when Robert Graham defeated Alan Armstrong by a 2-1 scoreline. In game four Michelin pulled one back when Rick McMaster beat Derek Dunlop by a 2-1 scoreline and the fight back continued when Drew Sloan beat George McCullough in straight frames to make the match score 3-2 for the Fairhill. In the final game Paul Hayes won the first frame but Brian Hanna fought back to win 2-1 for Michelin to earn his team a draw after being 3-0 down.

Horse & Jockey 1-5 Coach Bar

The Coach raced into a 2-0 lead with wins in straight frames for Davy Gillespie and Rodney Shirley over Martin McLintock and Raymond Campbell. In the third game the Horse & Jockey pulled one back when Eddie Maxwell defeated Derek Steele also in straight frames. The Coach hit back again by winning the next two games both by 2-0 scorelines there winners being Darren Gilmore and Davy Carlisle who beat Danielle Handley and Norman Clarke for a 4-1 lead for the Coach. In the final game Henry Butler won the first  frame for the Horse & Jockey but K.D. Crabbe fought back to win the remaining two games for the Coach to leave the match score 5-1 for the Coach Bar.

Connolly's A 2-4 Michelin Inbetweeners

Lee Wright won the first game for Michelin when he beat Niall McElroy by a 2-1 score. In the second game Joey McNally had a win in straight frames over David Calderwood to level the match score at 1-1. Joey had an 8 ball clearance in the first frame. In game three Gary Ormandy beat Sean Donnelly by a 2-0 scoreline. In game four Finton long came from one frame down to win 2-1 against William Mitchell to leave the match score 3-1 for the Inbetweeners. In game five Ryan Logan defeated Kevin Scullion in straight frames to give Michelin a 4-1 lead in the match. In the last game Martin O'Loughlin defeated Phil Houston 2-1 after losing the first frame to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Spotty Dogs 2-4 Connolly's B 

Pat McAnally(jnr) put Connolly's ahead when he beat Robert Artt by a 2-0 scoreline with the help of an 8 ball clearance in the first frame. Back came the Spotty Dogs with two wins in the next two games both by 2-0 scorelines there winners being Malcolm Graffin and Damian White who beat Alan Davidson and Connor Connolly to make the score 2-1 for the Spotty Dogs. In game four Dee Erwin leveled the match score when he defeated Brendan O'Mullan in straight frames. Game five went the way of Connolly's when Marcus Westhall came from one down to win 2-1 against Chris Gordon and in the final game Barry McLarnon rounded it off for Connolly's when he beat Ian Boal in straight frames to leave the final match score 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Result's - Week 10 - Tuesday 15th January 2013


Michelin Inbetweeners 2-4 Fairhill Hustlers 

George McCullough got the away team off to a good start when he beat Lee Wright 2-1. Robert Graham doubled the score when he beat Gary Ormandy by a 2-1 scoreline. In game three Finton Long pulled one back for Michelin when he defeated Paul Hayes in straight frames. This spurred on the Hustlers and they won the next two games both by 2-1 scorelines to give them a lead of 4-1with their winners being Justin Kilpatrick and Derek Dunlop who defeated Gareth Rowe and Stewart Frew. In the last game Michelin pulled another game back when Phil Houston defeated Ritchie Irwin by a 2-1 scoreline  and to leave the match score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Connolly's B 6-0 Social Sports

Pat McAnally put the home team ahead when he defeated Dennis Keenan by a 2-1 scoreline. Brett McLaughlin, Alan Davidson and Dee Erwin all had wins in straight frames over Eddie Fleck, John Fleck and Richard Campbell to make the match score 4-0 to Connolly's B. Alan Davidson had an eight ball clearance in the second game of his match. In game five Ross Hill won the first frame against Marcus Westhall but Marcus fought back to win 2-1 and make the overall score 5-0. The same happened in the last game when Richard Turtle won the first frame against Connor Connolly but Connor then won the next two frames to leave the final match score 6-0 for Connolly's B.

Horse & Jockey 1-5 Michelin Masters

Drew Sloan got the away team off to a flyer when he defeated Norman Clark in straight frames. Jimmy Knowles doubled the lead with a 2-1 win over Martin McClintock. In game three David Armstrong made it 3-0 when he had a win in straight frames against Danielle Handley. In games four and five Michelin got another two wins in straight frames to make the match score 5-0 with their winners being Alan Armstrong and Rick McMaster who defeated Eddie Maxwell and Henry Butler. In the final game Horse & jockey pulled a game back when Richard Handley had a 2-0 win over Brian Hanna to make the final score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Spotty Dogs 4-2 Connolly's A 

Malcolm Graffin put the home team ahead when he beat Connaire McAuley by a 2-1 scoreline then Niall McElroy levelled the match when he beat Damian White by a 2-1 scoreline. In game three the Spotty Dogs took the lead again when Robert Artt beat Sean Donnelly by a 2-1 scoreline. Brendan O'Mullan increased the lead with a 2-1 victory over Pat McAnally to leave the match score 3-1 for the Spotty Dogs. In game five Chris Gordon came from behind to beat Rory McCormick 2-1 and in the last game William Mitchell pulled another game back for Connolly's A when he defeated Ian Boal in straight frames to leave the match score 4-2 for the Spotty Dogs.

Re Arranged Match From Week 7 27/11/12 

The Spotty Dogs 2-4 Fairhill Hustlers 

Paul Hayes put the Hustlers ahead when he had a 2-0 win over Damian White. In game two George McCullough doubled the lead with another 2-0 win against Johnny Gordon. In game three Brendan O'Mullan defeated Ritchie Irwin also in straight frames to leave the match score 2-1 for the Hustlers. In the fourth game the Spotty Dogs levelled the match when Malcolm Graffin came from one down to defeat Derek Dunlop 2-1. In game five and six the Fairhill won both games by 2-1 scorelines but each player had to come from behind there winners being Justin Kilpatrick and Robert Graham who beat Chris Gordon and Ian Boal to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Social Sports 1-5 Fairhill Hustlers

Ritchie Irwin got the away team off to a good start when he beat Dennis Keenan in straight frames. Paul Hayes doubled the score when he beat Ross Hill also in straight frames and then Derek Dunlop made the score 3-0 for Fairhill when he beat Richard Campbell 2-0. In game four Robert Graham defeated Joni Millar by a score of 2-0 to make the score 4-0 for the Fairhill Hustlers. In game five Richard Turtle had a win in straight frames over Justin Kilpatrick and in the last game George McCullough defeated Brian Boyd by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final score 5-1 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Michelin Masters 4-2 The Coach Bar

Alan Armstrong beat Paul Gray 2-1 but had to come from one frame down to win. Drew Sloan beat Aaron Erwin also by a 2-1 scoreline. In game three David Armstrong made the score 3-0 for the Masters when he beat Denise Mitchell in straight frames. In game four Rick McMaster defeated Derek Steele in straight frames for a 4-0 lead for the Masters. David Gillespie pulled one back for the Coach when he defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-0 scoreline. In the final game K.D. Crabbe pulled another one back for the Coach when he defeated Harry Eagleson also in straight frames to leave the final score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

Spotty Dogs 5-1 Horse & Jockey

Martin McClintock came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Brendan O'Mullan and put the Horse & Jockey one up.I'm afraid this was as good as it gpt for the Horse & Jockey because they lost the five remaining games.In game two Damian White defeated Danielle Handley by a 2-1 scoreline, game three went the same way as Ian Boal defeated Eddie Maxwell 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game four Chris Gordon defeated Norman Clark in straight frames and Malcolm Graffin defeated Henry Butler 2-1 to make the score 4-1 for the Spotty Dogs. In the final game Robert Artt had a walkover because Horse & Jockey could only field five players to leave the score 5-1 for the Spotty Dogs.

Joey McNally put the A team one up when he beat Ryan Foster in straight frames. In game two Barry McLarnon came from one down to win 2-1 against Niall McElroy and level the scores. In game three Connaire McAuley had a 2-1 win over Connor Connolly after losing the first frame to give the A team a 2-1 lead in the match.Dee Erwin levelled the match when he had a win iun straight frames over Peter Kyle and the B team took the lead for the first time when Marcus Westhall beat Pat McAnally(snr) by a 2-1 scoreline after he had lost the first frame. In the final game Pat McAnally(jnr) defeated William Mitchell by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final score 4-2 for the B team.
