Minnesota 8 Ballers get revenge for the league defeat by Michelin with a 4-2 win and in the other competition Slemish Hotshots claim their first trophy with a hard fought win over Fairhill in a tight final. Captains night will be played on 06/05/11.

Michelin Masters are the 2010/11 Champions!!!!!

Re-Arranged Match from Week 14:  22/02/2011

Minnesota 8 Ballers 5-1 Knockeden Jokers

John McAllister gave the 8 Ballers an early advantage when he defeated Ciaron Nelson by a 2-0 scoreline. Pat McAnally doubled the score when he also had a 2-0 win over Martin Craig.In the third game Gareth Rowe won the first frame for the Jokers but failed to win the last two frames and Ryan Foster recorded a 2-1 win to leaver the score 3-0 for the 8 Ballers. In the fourth game Gary Clarke made it 4-0 when he defeated Raymond Lynn in straight frames. In the fifth game the Jokers pulled one back through David Gillespie when he came from a frame down to beat Alan Davidson 2-1 and in the last game Barry McLarnon had a 2-0 win over Jimmy Gillespie to leave the score 5-1 for the 8 Ballers.

Re-Arranged Matches  from Week 21:  12/04/2011

Slemish Hotshots  4-2 Social Cobwebs

Liam Erwin put the away team into the lead when he beat Dave Calderwood in straight frames. Gary Richardson won the first frame but back came Chris Adams to win the game 2-1. In the third game Alan Rainey won the first frame for the Cobwebs but could not stop Chris McCrory from taking the next two frames for a 2-1 lead for the Hotshots. Chris had an eight ball clearance in the second frame. Gary Rodgers increased the lead to 3-1 for the home team when he beat Stephen Holmes 2-1. In the fifth Barry Kernohan pulled one back when he beat Rodney Fleck in straight frames. In the last game Cobwebs had only five players so this left the score 4-2 for the Hotshots.

Michelin Masters 6-0 Connellys

As Connollys could only field three players the match was forfeited and the points going to Michelin Masters which could have a big decision to where the League Title goes this year.


Re-Arranged Match from Week 19: 29/03/2011

Minnesota 8 Ballers 1-5 Michelin Masters

Michelin travelled to the Cullybackey Road Club Rooms with a one point advantage but were still thought off as second favourites but when David Armstrong won the first game in straight frames against Gary Clarke and Rick McMaster came from one down to defeat Pat McAnally the favourites tag had shifted. In the third game John McAllister defeated Drew Sloan 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game four Alan Armstrong kept up the pressure and he defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames to make the score 3-1 for the Michelin men and crown them new league champions of B.T.P.L. In the last two games they were both won in straight frames the winners being Brian Hanna and Donald Alexander the new Player of the Year who beat Ryan Foster and Barry McLarnon to leave the score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters. Somebody may have stolen the Michelin Man from outside the factory but the Pool team are bringing home the league championship.

Social Inbetweeners 3-3 Slemish Hotshots

Mark Gillespie came from being one down to win 2-1 against Dean Calderwood and Gary Ormandy made it two when he beat Gary Rodgers in straight frames. Back came the Hotshots by winning the next three games all by 2-0 scorelines there winners being David Calderwood,Chris Adams and Gregory Shaw who defeated Finton Long,Chris Penney and Robert Hargan respectively to give the Broughshane men a 3-2 lead going into the last game. In the last game Derek Dunlop levelled the match at 3-3 when he defeated Connor Graham in straight frames.

Social Cobwebs 1-5 Michelin Masters

Drew Sloan gave the away team the lead by beating Gary Richardson in straight frames. In the second game Harry Eagleson doubled the score when he defeated Barry Kernohan also in straight frames. In the third game Liam Erwin won the middle frame against David Armstrong but David won the first and third for a 2-1 victory. In the fourth game Alan Armstrong made the score 4-0 for Michelin when he defeated Stephen Holmes by a 2-0 scoreline. In the fifth Alan Rainey saved the Cobwebs from a possible whitewash  when he beat Brian Hanna 2-0 yo make the score 4-1 for the away team. In the last game Michelin claimed the last point  as Cobwebs had only five players to make the final score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Knockeden Jokers 4-2 Social Sports

Jonny Rowe put the Jokers into the lead when he defeated Ross Hill in straight frames. The second game went the same way as the first only it was Gareth Rowe who beat Adam Gordon in straight frames for a 2-0 lead for the Jokers. Richard Turtle pulled one back for the Sports when he had a 2-0 win against David Gillespie but Ciaron Nelson restored the two game lead when he beat Rosie Turtle by a 2-0 scoreline. In the fifth game Martin Craig defeated Richard Campbell by a 2-0 scoreline. In the last game Brian Boyd gained the Sports another point when he defeated Jimmy Gillespie in straight frames to leave the match score 4-2 for Knockeden.

Horse & Jockey 1-5 Minnesota 8 Ballers

Ryan Foster put the 8 Ballers in the lead when he beat Steven McIlroy in straight frames. In the second game  Horse & Jockey suprised the champions when Richard Handley beat Alan Davidson 2-1 after losing the opening frame. Gary Erwin gave the 8 Ballers the lead again when he beat Henry Butler by a 2-1 scoreline. In the forth game Pat McAnally also won 2-1 when he beat Sam McCalmont. The last two games were both won 2-0 by the champions there winners being Barry McLarnon and Gary Clarke who beat Rodney Shirley and Eddie Maxwell to leave the score 5-1 for the 8 Ballers.

Social Inbetweeners 3-3 Michelin Masters

Mark Gillespie gave the Inbetweeners the lead when he defeated David Armstrong by a 2-1 scoreline. Gary Ormandy doubled the score when he beat Alan Armstrong in straight frames to leave the score 2-0 for the Social Club team. In the third game Drew Sloan pulled one back when he came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Derek Dunlop. Not worried by this the Inbetweeners restored the two game lead when Phil Houston beat Rick McMaster 2-0. Back came the Masters again Donald Alexander defeated Chris Penney 2-1 after losing the first frame. Brian Hanna got a valuable point for Michelin when he defeated Finton Long in straight frames to leave the match score 3-3.
