Results - Week 10 - Tuesday 20th December 2011

Social Sports 0 - 6 Michelin Masters 

David Armstrong came from one down to defeat Dennis Keenan by a 2-1 score line, Drew Sloan doubled the score by defeating Ross Hill by a 2-0 scoreline. Drew had an eight ball clearance in the second frame. In the third game Ricky McMaster defeated Adam Gordon in straight frames to make the score 3-0 for the Masters. In game four Donald Alexander beat Richard Campbell by a 2-1 scoreline. The last two games were won by Brian Hanna and Alan Armstrong who defeated Richard Turtle and Brian Boyd in straight frames to leave the match score 6-0 for Michelin Masters.

Moat Aces 5 - 1 Coach Bar 

The Moat Aces got off to a great start when Jimmy Duffy defeated Billy Andrews and then Darren Gilmore also had a straight frame win over Paul Gray. In the third game Aaron Irwin came from being one down to defeat Martin Hill 2-1, Aaron had an eight ball clearance in frame three  to make the score 2-1 for the Moat. After this the Aces took control and won the last three games all by 2-0 scorelines there winners being Alan Rainey, David Carlisle and K.D. Crabbe who beat Paul McGall, Rodney Shirley and Philip McAllister to leave the final score 5-1 for the Moat Aces.

Michelin Inbetweeners 4 - 2 Slemish Hotshots 

David Calderwood got the away team off to a winning start when he beat Lee Wright by a 2-1 scoreline. Michelin levelled the game when Gareth Rowe beat Gary Rodgers by a 2-1 scoreline. In the third game Wayne Lewis also had a 2-1 win over Chris Adams. The next two games were 2-0 wins for Chris Penny and Finton Long who defeated Rodney Fleck and Damian Keenan to make the score 4-1 for Michelin. In the last game the Slemish pulled one back when Ryan Logan defeated Philip Houston in straight frames to leave the final score 4-2 for Michelin Inbetweeners.

Connollys A 2 - 4 Connollys B 

In this derby game the B team took the first two games with Pat McAnally and Ryan Foster beating Davy Cummins and Martin O'Loughlin both in straight frames. In the third game Dean Dunlop also had a win in straight frames when he beat Sean Donnelly for a 3-0 lead for the B team. In the fourth game the A team pulled one back when Joey McNally came from one down to win 2-1 against Connor Connolly. In the fifth game Barry McLarnon restored the three game advantage when he beat Kevin Scullion in three frames after losing the first. In the final game Alan Smith beat Brett McLaughlin by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final score 4-2 for the B team.

Fairhill Hustlers 5 - 1 Diamond Bar 

Damian White came from one down to beat George McCullough 2-1 and get the Diamond Bar off to a good start. In the second game Derek Dunlop had a win in straight frames over Declan Heggarty and Paul Hayes also won in straight frames over Adrian Mann to take the Fairhill into a 2-1 lead in the match. In the fourth game Justin Kilpatrick had to come from behind to defeat Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-1 score line. The last two games both went to the Fairhill there winners being Ritchie Irwin and Robert Graham who beat Chris Gordon and Ian Boal both in straight frames to leave the final score 5-1 for the Fairhill.

Horse and Jockey 2 - 4 Social Cobwebs 

The Cobwebs got off to a winning start when Stephen Holmes defeated Gary Hillis in straight frames. Johnny Laing levelled the scores when he beat Ricky McNeill also in straight frames. The Cobwebs regained the lead by winning the next two games through Chris McGaughey and Jimmy Knowles who defeated Dean Hill and Mark Davidson both in straight frames to leave the score 3-1 for the Cobwebs. In the fifth game Sam McCalmont pulled one back for the Jockey when he beat Andy McAlonan by a 2-0 scoreline. In the final game Victor McAlonan had another win in straight frames over Henry Butler to leave the final score 4-2 for the Cobwebs.
