Reminder to all teams that the Tommy Nelson Memorial Trophy will take place on Sunday 16th December in Michelin Social Club. Entry Fee is £3 per person and registration takes place at 1:30pm with the draw being made at 2pm.

Horse & Jockey 0-6 Michelin Inbetweeners

Finton Long got the Inbetweeners off to a flying start when he beat Gary Hillis 2-0. In the first frame Finton broke and did an 8 ball clearance and followed this with a clearance in frame two after Gary had broke the balls and Gary had only one shot in the whole game. Lee Wright made it 2-0 when he had a win in straight frames over Sam McCalmont and then Chris Penney made it 3-0 for the Inbetweeners when he beat Norman Clarke in straight frames. The last three games were all won by 2-0 scorelines by the away team w ith their winners being Phil Houston ,Gary Ormandy and Gareth Rowe who beat Eddie Maxwell, Henry Butler and Liam Kearney for a final score of 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Michelin Masters 5-1 Spotty Dogs 

Drew Sloan put the home team ahead when he beat Robert Artt in straight frames. In game two Damian White leveled the match when he beat Brian Hanna by a 2-0 scoreline. In game three Alan Armstrong restored the lead for the Masters when he beat Brendan O'Mullan in straight frames. Rick McMaster defeated Chris Gordon also in straight frames to make the score 3-1 for Michelin. In game five David Armstrong beat Malcolm Graffin by a 2-0 scoreline and in the final game Harry Eagleson made the final score 5-1 to Michelin Masters when he beat Ian Boal by a 2-1 scoreline.

Pat McAnally got the away team off to a good start when he beat George McCullough in straight frames. In game two Derek Dunlop leveled the match with a 2-0 win over Alan Davidson. In game three Connor Connolly restored the lead for Connolly's when he defeated Paul Hayes by a 2-1 scoreline. Dee Erwin increased the lead to 3-1 for the away team when he beat Justin Kilpatrick in straight frames. In game five Marcus Westhall made it it 4-1 for Connolly's when he beat Robert Graham by a 2-1 scoreline. In the final game Ritchie Irwin pulled one back for the Fairhill when he had a 2-1 win over Kyle McLaughlin to leave the final score 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Coach Bar 4-2 Social Sports

The home team got off to a good start by winning the first three games. In game one Denise Mitchell had to come from being one down to win 2-1 over Adam Gordon. Derek Steele made it two by beating Eddie Fleck 2-1 and Darren Gilmore made it three when he defeated John Fleck in straight frames. Social Sports pulled one back through Richard Turtle who beat David Carlisle in straight frames. In game five K.D. Crabbe restored the three game lead when he defeated Joni Millar also in straight frames. In the final game the Sports pulled another one back through Richard Campbell who had a 2-0 win over Rodney Shirley to leave the final score 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

Horse & Jockey 1-5 Connolly's A 

Gary Hillis won the first frame but lost the next two frames to Niall McElroy for Niall to register a 2-1 win for Connolly's A. Pat McAnally Snr made the score two nil for Connolly's when he defeated Sam McCalmont in straight frames. The Horse & Jockey pulled one back when Henry Butler defeated Sean Donnelly by a 2-1 scoreline. That was as close to Connolly's as they got Connolly's won the last three games all by 2-0 scorelines there winners being Kevin Scullion, William Mitchell and Peter Kyle who defeated Norman Clarke, Eddie Maxwell and Ricky Handley respectively  for a final score of 5-1 for Connolly's A.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5-1 Social Sports

The home team got off to a good start when they won the first two games by 2-0 scorelines with their winners being Lee Wright and Gary Ormandy who beat Eddie Fleck and John Fleck. In game three Stewart Frew defeated Joni Millar 2-1 after losing the first frame. Gareth Rowe made the score 4-0 for the Inbetweeners when he defeated Richard Turtle by a 2-1 scoreline. In game five Social Sports pulled one game back when Richard Campbell defeated Finton Long by a 2-1 scoreline after being 1-0 down. In the final game Phil Houston wrapped it all up when he beat May Barr in straight frames to leave the final score at 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeeners.

Connolly's A 1-5 Michelin Masters 

David Armstrong set Michelin off on the winning trail when David beat Niall McElroy by a 2-1 scoreline. Drew Sloan made it 2-0 with a win in straight frames over Sean Donnelly. In game three Brian Hanna increased the lead when he also had a win in straight frames over Rory McCormick. In game four Rick McMaster defeated Peter Kyle by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the match score 4-0 for Michelin Masters. In game five Alan Armstrong increased the lead with a 2-0 win against Pat McAnally (snr) to make the score 5-0.In the last game Joey McNally saved the white wash when he beat Jimmy Knowles in straight frames to leave the match score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Pat McAnally got the away team off to a flier when he beat Jimmy Knowles in straight frames. Drew Sloan leveled the match when he beat Ryan Foster in straight frames and Drew had an 8 ball clearance in frame one. In game three David Armstrong put the Masters into the lead for the first time when he beat Connor Connolly by a 2-0 scoreline. In game four Dee Erwin levelled the match with a 2-1 win over Rick McMaster after Rick had won the first frame. Game five put the Michelin Masters back into the lead when Alan Armstrong beat Marcus Westhall 2-1 after losing the first frame and Alan had an 8 ball clearance in the second frame. The final game went the way of Connolly's when Brett McLaughlin defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-0 scoreline to leave the final score a well deserved 3-3 draw.

In game three Gareth Rowe had a 2-1 win over David Carlisle and in game four Finton Long made the score 4-0 for the Inbetweeners when he beat Darren Gilmore 2-1 after Darren had won the first frame. In the last two games the Inbetweeners had 2-0 wins through Phil Houston and Ryan Logan who beat Derek Steele and Rodney Shirley to leave the final score 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

In the third game Richard Campbell pulled one back for the Sports when he beat Harry Eagleson by a 2-1 scoreline. In game four Joni Millar levelled the match score at 2-2 when he beat Alan Armstrong in straight frames. Back came the Michelin Masters to take the lead again through Brian Hanna who beat John Fleck 2-0. In the final game Jimmy Knowles sealed the victory for the Masters when he beat Richard Turtle by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

The Coach got off to a good start when Aaron Erwin defeated Pat McAnally Snr in straight frames. Connolly's A levelled through Sean Donnelly who beat Paul Gray also in straight frames. William Mitchell put Connolly's in front with a 2-0 win over Derek Steele. In game four Niall McElroy made it 3-1 for Connollys when he beat Darren Gilmore in straight frames. Joey McNally defeated David Carlisle by a 2-1 scoreline to make the match score 4-1 for Connolly's A.In the final game Rodney Shirley picked up another game for the Coach when he beat Connaire McAuley by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final match score 4-2 for Connolly's A .

Michelin Masters 5-1 Michelin Inbetweeners 

The Inbetweeners got off to a good start when Gareth Rowe defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-1 scoreline. Gareth had an eight ball clearance in the first frame. The Masters fought back and won the next two games in straight frames there winners being Rick McMaster and Drew Sloan who defeated Finton Long and Chris Penney. In game four Stewart Frew won the first frame but lost out in the next two to Alan Armstrong to give the Masters a 3-1 lead. The Masters kept the pressure on by winning the fifth game when David Armstrong beat Philip Houston by a 2-1 scoreline.  In the final game Jimmy Knowles wrapped it all up with a 2-1 win over Gary Ormandy to leave the final score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

There winners being Sean Donnelly, Connaire McAuley, Nial McElroy and Kevin Scullion who defeated Robert Graham, Ritchie Irwin, Paul Hayes and Justin Kilpatrick all by 2-0 scorelines. In the final game Derek Dunlop defeated Peter Kyle by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final match score 5-1 for Connolly's A.

Aaron Erwin got the home team off to a good start when he defeated Gary Hillis in straight frames. The Coach kept on the pressure and reeled off the next three games without reply their winners being David Carlisle, Derek Steele and Paul Gray who were all 2-1 winners over Sam McCalmont, Suzy Dickey and Darryl McCully. In game five Darren Gilmore made it 5-0 when he defeated Eddie Maxwell by a 2-1 scoreline. In the last game Rodney Shirley made it a clean sweep when he defeated Liam Kearney in straight frames for an over all score of 6-0 to the Coach.

George McCullough got the Hustlers off to a good start by winning the first frame against Jimmy Knowles but Jimmy fought back to win the next two frames for a 2-1 win for Michelin.The next two games were won by the Masters through Rick McMaster and Drew Sloan who beat Justin Kilpatrick and Paul Hayes to leave the score 3-0 for Michelin. In game four hustlers pulled one back through Robert Graham who lost the first frame but fought back to beat David Armstrong 2-1.In game five Alan Armstrong restored the three game lead when he beat Derek Dunlop in straight frames to leave the score 4-1 for Michelin. In the final game Ritchie Irwin won the first game but lost out in the next two to Brian Hanna to leave the final score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Barry McLarnon won the first frame against Damian White but Damian fought back to win the next two for a 2-1 win. In the second game Pat McAnally levelled the match score at 1-1 when he beat Robert Artt in straight frames. In game three the Diamond regained the lead when Chris Gordon defeated Conor Connolly by a 2-1 scoreline. In game four Connolly's levelled the match for a second time when Dee Erwin beat Malcolm Graffin by a 2-1 scoreline.For the first time Connolly's took the lead through Ryan Foster who beat Brendan O' Mullen in straight frames for an overall lead of 3-2. In the final game Ian Boal defeated Alan Davidson also in straight frames for a very creditable draw for the Diamond

Lee Wright put the home team into the lead when he defeated Rory McCormack in straight frames. The Inbetweeners made it 2-0 when Gary Ormandy came from behind to beat Pat McAnally Snr 2-1. In game three Joey McNally pulled one back for Connolly's when he beat Finton Long in straight frames. In game four Gareth Rowe restored the two game lead when he beat William Mitchell by a 2-1 scoreline. Then in game five Connolly's got another game through Niall McElroy who won 2-0 against Chris Penney. In the final game Phil Houston made it 4-2 for Michelin Inbetweeners when he beat Peter Kyle in straight frames.

George McCullough got the home team off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Ryan Logan. David Calderwood leveled the score when he defeated Justin Kilpatrick in straight frames. Michelin took the lead when Gary Ormandy beat Derek Dunlop by a 2-1 scoreline. Finton Long made it 3-1 to Michelin by beating Robert Graham in straight frames. Fairhill had not given up just yet and when Ritchie Irwin beat Gareth Rowe by a score of 2-0 the Fairhill were back in the game. In the last game Paul Hayes got a draw for the home team when he defeated Phil Houston by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final match score 3-3.

Social Sports 1-5 Connolly's B 

The champions got off to a flyer with a 2-0 win from Pat McAnally who defeated Adam Gordon. In the second game John Fleck took the first frame for the Social Sports but lost out to Brett McLaughlin who won the next two frames for a 2-1 win for Connolly's and a 2-0 overall lead in the match. In game three Barry McLarnon had a win in straight frames over Eddie Fleck and when Connor Connelly also had a win in straight frames over Richard Turtle that took the match score to 4-0 for Connolly's. In game five Gary Clarke also had a win in straight frames over Richard Campbell. In game six Connolly's failed to field a last player so Joni Millar had a walk over to leave the final score 5-1 for Connolly's B.

The first round of fixture's are now available on the web site and will be played on Tuesday 16th October 2012. I will also be posting dates of the Pool Festival along with any other relevant information.

BUFC Social Club Pool Competition - July 7th

Hi Guys,

Richard Campbell will be hosting an individual's Pool Tournament in the BUFC Social Club on Saturday July 7th.

Entry fee is £5 and there is a guaranteed £100 in prize money. The competition is 100% payout.

Registration is at 1:30pm for a 2pm start.

Annual League Dinner Announcement

The League Dinner will be held at 7:30pm at Michelin Club on Friday 1st June.

This year ALL tickets must be paid for before attendance.

There is a meeting at the Michelin Club on Tuesday 15th May at 8pm sharp. ALL TEAMS are invited to attend (send a representative). Please bring exact figures for dinner attendance along with the money for each player (£15 per person). Without payment next week, you will not get to attend.

Sean Donnelly took the first game after beating Damian White by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. Diamond Bar took the next game to make the score 1-1 when Declan Heggarty beat Peter Kyle in straight frames. In game three Connollys made the score 2-1 when Martin O'Loughlin came from one frame down to win 2-1 against Adrian Mann. The next two games were both won by 2-0 score lines for the Diamond Bar there winners being Brendan O' Mullan and Chris Gordon who defeated Kevin Scullion and Alan Smyth to leave the score 3-2 for the Diamond. In the final game Ian Boal beat Joey McNally 2-1 after losing the first frame to make the final score 4-2 for the Diamond Bar.

Ross Hill came from being one frame down to beat Gary Rodgers 2-1 and gave a 1-0 lead for the Social Sports. In game two Chris Adams made it 1-1 when he beat Dennis Keenan by a 2-1 score line. Paul Bates gave the Slemish the lead when he beat Adam Gordon by a 2-1 score line. In game four David Calderwood increased the lead to 3-1 for the Hotshots when he beat Richard Turtle by a 2-0 score. In the last two games the Slemish won these both by 2-1 when Chris Ramsey and Ryan Logan defeated Richard Campbell and Brian Boyd for a final score of 5-1 for the Slemish Hotshots.

The first three games were all won by Fairhill Hustlers by 2-0 score lines there winners being George McCullough, Derek Dunlop and Robert Graham who beat Mark Davidson , Eddie Maxwell and Gary Hillis to give Fairhill a 3-0 lead. Game four and five were both won by the same score line by the Fairhill there winners being Justin Kilpatrick and Ritchie Irwin who beat Dean Hill and Henry Butler both by 2-1 score lines. In the final game Paul Hayes defeated Sam McCalmont in straight frames for a 6-0 result for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Pat McAnally got the home team ahead when he beat Jimmy Duffy in straight frames. Ryan Foster made it 2-0 after he defeated Darren Gilmore in straight frames and he was helped by an 8ball clearance in the first frame of his game .Brett McLaughlin made it 3-0 with a 2-0 win over David Carlisle. In game four Alan Rainey pulled one back for the Moat when he beat Barry McLarnon by a 2-0 score line and he also had an 8ball clearance in the second frame. Connollys restored there three game lead when Alan Davidson came from one frame down to win 2-1 against K.D. Crabbe and in the final game George Crothers had to come from one down to win 2-1 against Connor Connolly to leave the final score 4-2 for Connollys B.

Aaron Erwin put the Coach into the lead when he defeated Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. Sean Donnelly levelled the match when he beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames. In game three Joey McNally put the home team in front when he beat Philip McAllister by a 2-1 score line. Paul McGall levelled for the Coach when he beat Kevin Scullion by a 2-0 score line. In game five Philip Shaw put the Coach ahead again when he defeated Peter Kyle 2-1 after losing the first frame and in the last game Martin O'Loughlin defeated James Miller 2-1 to leave the final result a 3-3 draw.

The home team got off to a good start when Aaron Erwin gave them the lead when he beat Darren Gilmore in straight frames. David Carlisle levelled the scores when he defeated Paul Gray also in straight frames. In game three K.D. Crabbe gave the Moat Aces the lead in the match when he beat Billy Andrews by a 2-0 score line but the Coach fought back and once again levelled the match when Paul Shaw defeated Brandon Rainey also by a 2-0 score line. In game five George Crothers put the Moat back in front 3-2 when he beat Philip McAllister by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Rodney Shirley beat Aaron McIlhallon in straight frames to leave the final match score 3-3.

Donald Alexander put the home team ahead when he beat Adam Gordon in straight frames and Brian Hanna made it two when he defeated Ross Hill also in straight frames. The next three games all went the way of Michelin Masters there winners being David Armstrong, Rick McMaster and Alan Armstrong who defeated Dennis Keenan, Brian Boyd and Richard Campbell in straight frames to leave the match score 5-0 for the Masters.. In the final game Richard Turtle saved the Sports from being white washed when he defeated Harry Eagleson in straight frames to leave the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

In game two Brett McLaughlin doubled the lead for the B team when he beat Sean Donnelly also in straight frames. In game three Pat McAnally increased the lead to 3-0 when he beat Niall McElroy by a 2-1 score line. Alan Davidson made it four by defeating Peter Kyle by a 2-0 score line. In game five the A team saved a possible whitewash when Joey McNally defeated Connor Connolly by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Barry McLarnon made the match score 5-1 for the B team when he beat Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line.

In game four Michelin levelled the match score when Finton Long defeated Chris Adams by a 2-1 score line. In game five the Slemish took the lead again in the match when Damian Keenan defeated Dessie Cooper in straight frames and in the final game Phil Houston defeated Chris Adams also in straight frames to leave the match score a 3-3 draw.

Paul McAuley got Michelin off to a winning start when he defeated Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line. Rick McMaster came from being one down to win 2-1 against Joey McNally. In the third game David Armstrong took just 7 minutes to win the match 2-0 against Sean Donnelly. Brian Hanna made it 4-0 for Michelin when he beat Kevin Scullion by a 2-1 score line. In game five Marcus Westhall pulled one back for Connollys when he had a win in straight frames against Donald Alexander and in the final game Martin O'Loughlin pulled another game back for the home team when he beat Harry Eagleson 2-1 after losing the first frame and to leave the match score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

David Calderwood put the Hotshots into the lead when he beat Brandon Rainey in straight frames. Paul Bates doubled the score when he came from being one down to win 2-1 against K.D. Crabbe to make the score 2-0 for the Slemish . The Moat Aces staged a comeback by winning the next two games to make the score 2-2. There winners being Alan Rainey and David Carlisle who defeated Gary Rodgers and Ryan Logan in straight frames. In game five Chris Adams put the Slemish into the lead when he defeated Aaron McIlhatton in straight frames. Pat McAnally restored the lead for Connollys when he had a win in straight frames against Gary Ormandy. Back came Michelin through Gareth Rowe who defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames.
