Results - Week 19 - Tuesday 18th March 2014

Coach Bar 3-3 Fairhill Dreamers
 
Linzi McClelland got the away team off to a winning way when she beat Paul Gray by a 2-1 score line. The Fairhill Dreamers took a two nil lead when Sean Brannigan defeated K.D.Crabbe by a 2-1 score line. The Coach pulled a game back when Davy Carlisle defeated Guy Rodgers in straight frames. The Dreamers hit right back by winning game four through Ricky Allen who beat Davy Gillespie by a 2-1 score line. In game five Raymond Lynn came from being one down to win 2-1 against Glenn Mairs, Glenn had an 8ball clearance in the first frame. The last game went the way of the Coach when Darren Gilmore had a win in straight frames over Gareth Montgomery to leave the final match score 3-3.

Ballee Rollers 3-3 Diamond Dazzlers
 
Ian Boal took the first game 2-1 after losing the first frame against Colin McCaughern. Ballee levelled the score at 1-1 when Dean Greer defeated Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-0 score line. Ballee then took the lead when Aaron Browne came from being one down to win 2-1 against Robert Artt. In game four Adrian Rourke levelled the match at 2-2 when he beat Shane Hillis in straight frames with the help of an 8ball clearance in frame two. In game five Chris Gordon put the Diamond back into the lead when he beat Josh McCrory in straight frames. In the final game Frazer Young defeated Malcolm Graffin in straight frames to leave the match result at 3-3.

Michelin Inbetweeners 6-0 Social Club
 
The first game went to Ryan Logan who defeated John Fleck in straight frames. The next game was won by Gareth Rowe who had to come from behind to beat Eddie Fleck 2-1. In game three it was the same as Finton Long won 2-1 against Marc McMullan but he also lost the first frame. In game Phil Houston beat Dennis Keenan in straight frames to make the match score 4-0 for the Inbetweeners. The last two games were both won by 2-0 score lines for the Inbetweeners their winners being Lee Wright and Gary Ormandy who defeated Ross Hill and Brian Boyd to make the final match score of 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Diamond Duffers 2-4 Ballee Black Ballers
 
Lewis Boyd put the Black Ballers ahead when he defeated Tam McMaster in straight frames. The second game went same way as the first game when Neil Weir defeated Chris McGarry also in straight frames. In game three Jason Olgilvy came from behind to defeat Dean Robinson to make the match score 2-1 for the Black Ballers. The Black Ballers restored the two game difference when Jimmy Barr defeated Matthew Peacock 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game five Allister Law also had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Chris Nichol. In the final game Steven Anderson had a 2-0 win over Jason Weir to leave the final score 4-2 for the Ballee Black Ballers.

The games between Connolly's A v Connolly's B and Fairhill Hustlers v Michelin Masters were both postponed and will be played at a later date..
Another reminder to all teams that all match score cards to be returned to the match secretary by the Wednesday night after the matches. Would all teams please contact the League Secretary when they are postponing matches.

Results - Week 18 - Tuesday 11th March 2014

Fairhill Dreamers 0-6 Michelin Inbetweeners

This was a game of two halves with the first three games having exactly the same score and the last three games having exactly the same score. The first three games went to Michelin when they won 2-1 after losing the first frame their winners were Ryan Logan, Gary Ormandy and Gareth Rowe who defeated Gareth Montgomery, Glenn Mairs and Sean Brannigan. The second three games also went to Michelin but were all won by 2-0 score lines their winners being Finton Long, Phil Houston and Stewart Frew who all beat Ricky Allen, Linzi McClelland and Guy Rodgers to leave the final score 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Social Club 2-4 Fairhill Hustlers

Ritchie Irwin got the away team off to a good start after he beat Marc McMullan 2-1 after losing the first frame. Social Club levelled the scores at 1-1 when Eddie Fleck had a 2-1 win over Adam Gordon. The Fairhill ran off three games in a row through Justin Kilpatrick, Richard Campbell and Robert Graham who defeated Johnny Fleck, Ross Hill and Albert McBride all in straight frames to give the Fairhill a 4-1 lead in the match. In the final game Social Club pulled another one back when Brian Boyd defeated Paul Hayes by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Michelin Masters 6-0 Diamond Duffers

Drew Sloan got the Masters off to a good start when he beat Tam McMaster in straight frames. In game two Alan Armstrong doubled the score to 2-0 when he beat Jason Olgilvy also in straight frames and in game three David Armstrong not to be out done by his brother also had a 2-0 win over Darren McFetridge. In game four Brian Hanna came from being one down to win 2-1 against Matthew Peacock and frame five went to Rick McMaster who beat Steven Douglas by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Alan Rainey had a 2-0 win over Steven French and he was helped on his way with an 8ball clearance in the first frame and this left the final score of 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

Diamond Dazzlers 3-3 Coach Bar

Ian Boal came from behind to defeat David Gillespie 2-1 and Malcolm Graffin doubled the score for the Diamond when he had a 2-0 win over K.D. Crabbe. The Coach pulled a game back when David Carlisle defeated Robert Artt by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. In game four Darren Gilmore beat Chris Gordon by a 2-1 score to level the match score at 2-2. The Coach continued their run and they won game five through Raymond Lynn who defeated Adrian Rourke in straight frames to give the Coach a 3-2 lead in the match. In the final game Ruairi O'Connell came from behind to defeat James Gillespie by a 2-1 score and this levelled the match score at 3-3.

Ballee Black Ballers 2-4 Connolly's B

Brett McLaughlin got Connolly's off to a good start when he beat Craig Young in straight frames. In game two Pat McAnally came from being one down to win 2-1 against Lewis Boyd. Dean Robinson pulled one back when he defeated Dee Erwin by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. Ryan Foster restored the two game difference when he beat Neil Weir by a 2-1 score line and in game five Alan Davidson had a win in straight frames over Allister Law. In the final game Jimmy Barr pulled another game back for the Ballee when he defeated Marcus Westhall in straight frames to make the final match score 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Connolly's B 4-2 Ballee Black Ballers

Pat McAnally put the home team ahead when he beat Jimmy Barr in straight frames. Brett McLaughlin made it two when he beat Neil Weir by a 2-1 score line. In game three Paul Smyth pulled a game back for the Black Ballers when he defeated Connor Connolly in straight frames. In game four Owen Butler restored the two game difference for Connolly's when he beat Dean Robinson in straight frames. Once again the Black Ballers came back with a win by Allister Law who beat Marcus Westhall by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Dee Erwin defeated Lewis Boyd also by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Diamond Dazzlers 4-2 Ballee Black Ballers

Ian Boal got the Dazzlers of to a winning start when he defeated Allister Law by a 2-1 score line. Paul Smyth levelled the match score at 1-1 when he defeated Malcolm Graffin also by a 2-1 score line. The Dazzlers won the next three games all by 2-0 score lines with their winners being Brendan O'Mullan, Robert Artt and Adrian Rourke who defeated Lewis Boyd, Peter Moore and Neil Weir to make the match score 4-1 for the Dazzlers. In the final game the Black Ballers pulled another game back when Dean Robinson beat Robert Hargan in straight frames to leave the final match score 4-2 to the Diamond Dazzlers.

Fairhill Dreamers 4-2 Social Club
 
Sean Brannigan got the home team of to a good start when he beat Dennis Keenan in straight frames. The match was all square when Marc McMullan defeated Ricky Allen also in straight frames. The Social Club went into the lead when Eddie Fleck beat Linzi McClelland by a 2-0 score line and this gave the Social Club a 2-1 lead in the match. But I'm afraid this was as good as it got for the Social Club and they lost the next three games. In game four Glenn Mairs beat John Fleck 2-0 and this included an 8-ball clearance in the first frame. In game five Guy Rodgers had to come from being one down to win 2-1 against Ross Hill and in the last game Gareth Montgomery also had to come from behind against Brian Boyd and win 2-1 and this made the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Dreamers.

The Hustlers raced into a 2-0 lead through George McCullough and Richard Campbell who beat Jason Olgilvy and Steven Anderson both by 2-0 score lines. In game three Paul Hayes came from being one down to win 2-1 against Darren McFetridge to make the match score 3-0 for the Fairhill Hustlers. In game four Robert Graham increased the lead by beating Matthew Peacock in straight frames. In game five Ritchie Irwin made the score 5-0 to the Fairhill when he defeated Tam McMaster by a 2-1 score line and in the final game Justin Kilpatrick had to come from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Chris McGarry to leave the final match score 6-0 to the Fairhill Hustlers.

The Black Ballers struck first through Peter Moore who had to come from behind to beat Stefan Armstrong 2-1. Lewis Boyd doubled the lead when he defeated Shane Hillis by a 2-1 score line. In game three the Rollers pulled one back through Adrian Browne who defeated Neil Weir 2-1. In game four Paul Smyth restored the two game difference when he beat David Calderwood in straight frames for a 3-1 match score to the Black Ballers. In game five Dean Robinson made it 4-1 when he defeated Frazer Young by a 2-1 score line and in the last game Allister Law wrapped it all up when he defeated Dean Greer by a 2-1 score line to make the final match score 5-1 for the Ballee Black Ballers.

Connolly's B 4-2 Michelin Masters
 
Ryan Foster got the B team off to a winning start when he beat Alan Rainey by a 2-1 score line. The Masters hit back through Drew Sloan who beat Alan Davidson in straight frames to level the scores. The Masters took the lead when David Armstrong beat Brett McLaughlin by a 2-1 score after being one down. In game four Pat McAnally levelled the match when he beat Rick McMaster by a 2-1 score line. In game five Connolly's took the lead through Barry McLarnon who defeated Alan Armstrong in straight frames and in the final game the outcome was the same when Dean Dunlop defeated Brian Hanna also in straight frames for a final score of 4-2 for Connolly's B and a big win against their nearest rivals.

David Carlisle got the home team off to a good start when he beat Joey McNally in straight frames. Pat McAnally (snr) levelled the scores when he came from being one down to defeat Paul Gray 2-1. In game three the Coach took the lead again when Raymond Lynn beat Sean Donnelly by a 2-0 score line. Once again Connolly's levelled the match score when Niall McElroy beat David Gillespie in straight frames. In game five Connolly's took the lead for the first time when Kevin Scullion beat Darren Gilmore by a 2-1 score line and in the final game K.D.Crabbe beat Johnny Walker in straight frames for a final match score of 3-3.

The Michelin Inbetweeners raced into a 3-0 lead by winning the first three games all by 2-0 score lines with their winners being Gary Ormandy, Chris Penney and Philip Houston who beat Malcolm Graffin, Brendan O'Mullan and Ruairi O'Connell respectively. In game four the Diamond pulled a game when Chris Gordon defeated Gareth Rowe by a 2-1 score line. In game five Adrian Rourke beat Lee Wright in straight frames to make the match score 3-2 for the Inbetweeners. In the final game the match was won by Stewart Frew when he defeated Ian Boal in straight frames for a final match score of 4-2 to the Michelin Inbetweeners.
