Results - Week 21 - Tuesday 24/04/2012


Coach Bar 3 - 3 Moat Aces

The home team got off to a good start when Aaron Erwin gave them the lead when he beat Darren Gilmore in straight frames. David Carlisle levelled the scores when he defeated Paul Gray also in straight frames. In game three K.D. Crabbe gave the Moat Aces the lead in the match when he beat Billy Andrews by a 2-0 score line but the Coach fought back and once again levelled the match when Paul Shaw defeated Brandon Rainey also by a 2-0 score line. In game five George Crothers put the Moat back in front 3-2 when he beat Philip McAllister by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Rodney Shirley beat Aaron McIlhallon in straight frames to leave the final match score 3-3.

Michelin Masters 5 - 1 Social Sports

Donald Alexander put the home team ahead when he beat Adam Gordon in straight frames and Brian Hanna made it two when he defeated Ross Hill also in straight frames. The next three games all went the way of Michelin Masters there winners being David Armstrong, Rick McMaster and Alan Armstrong who defeated Dennis Keenan, Brian Boyd and Richard Campbell in straight frames to leave the match score 5-0 for the Masters.. In the final game Richard Turtle saved the Sports from being white washed when he defeated Harry Eagleson in straight frames to leave the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Connollys B 5 - 1 Connollys A

Ryan Foster put the B team into the lead when he beat Kevin Scullion in straight frames. In game two Brett McLaughlin doubled the lead for the B team when he beat Sean Donnelly also in straight frames. In game three Pat McAnally increased the lead to 3-0 when he beat Niall McElroy by a 2-1 score line. Alan Davidson made it four by defeating Peter Kyle by a 2-0 score line. In game five the A team saved a possible whitewash when Joey McNally defeated Connor Connolly by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Barry McLarnon made the match score 5-1 for the B team when he beat Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line.

Slemish Hotshots 3 - 3 Michelin Inbetweeners

Lee wright put the Inbetweeners ahead when he beat Ryan Logan in straight frames. Back came the Slemish they won the next two games both by 2-1 score lines with their winners being Gregory Shaw and David Calderwood who defeated Gary Ormandy and Gareth Rowe. In game four Michelin levelled the match score when Finton Long defeated Chris Adams by a 2-1 score line. In game five the Slemish took the lead again in the match when Damian Keenan defeated Dessie Cooper in straight frames and in the final game Phil Houston defeated Chris Adams also in straight frames to leave the match score a 3-3 draw.

Diamond Bar 0-6 Fairhill Hustlers

George McCullough gave the Fairhill the lead when he beat Damian White in straight frames. Paul Hayes made it two when he defeated Adrian Mann also in straight frames and in the third game Ritchie Irwin increased the Fairhill’s lead to 3-0 when he beat Declan Heggarty also in straight frames. In game four Chris Gordon won the first frame for the Diamond but Justin Kilpatrick fought back by taking the last two frames for a 2-1 win for the Fairhill. In game five Robert Graham made the match score 5-0 when he defeated Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-0 score line and in the final game Derek Dunlop beat Ian Boal 2-1 after losing the first frame to leave the final match score 6-0 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Connollys A 2 - 4 Michelin Masters

Paul McAuley got Michelin off to a winning start when he defeated Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line. Rick McMaster came from being one down to win 2-1 against Joey McNally. In the third game David Armstrong took just 7 minutes to win the match 2-0 against Sean Donnelly. Brian Hanna made it 4-0 for Michelin when he beat Kevin Scullion by a 2-1 score line. In game five Marcus Westhall pulled one back for Connollys when he had a win in straight frames against Donald Alexander and in the final game Martin O'Loughlin pulled another game back for the home team when he beat Harry Eagleson 2-1 after losing the first frame and to leave the match score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

Moat Aces 2-4 Slemish Hotshots

David Calderwood put the Hotshots into the lead when he beat Brandon Rainey in straight frames. Paul Bates doubled the score when he came from being one down to win 2-1 against K.D. Crabbe to make the score 2-0 for the Slemish . The Moat Aces staged a comeback by winning the next two games to make the score 2-2. There winners being Alan Rainey and David Carlisle who defeated Gary Rodgers and Ryan Logan in straight frames. In game five Chris Adams put the Slemish into the lead when he defeated Aaron McIlhatton in straight frames. In the final game Chris Ramsey beat George Crothers also by a 2-0 score line to leave the match score 4-2 for the Slemish Hotshots.

Fairhill Hustlers 6-0 Social Sports

George McCullough defeated Richard Turtle in straight frames to give Hustlers the lead. The next three games all went to the home team who all had 2-0 wins against their opponents. The Fairhill winners were Justin Kilpatrick, Derek Dunlop and Paul Hayes who defeated Ross Hill, Brian Boyd and Adam Gordon respectively. In game five Robert Graham beat Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score vline and in the final game Ritchie Irwin wrapped it all up for the Fairhill when he defeated Dennis Keenan in straight frames for a 6-0 win for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Horse & Jockey 2-4 Diamond Bar

Richard Handley got the home team off to a good start when he defeated Damien White by a 2-1 score line. In the second game Declan Heggarty levelled the match when he defeated Gary Hillis in straight frames. In game three Henry Butler restored the lead for the Horse & Jockey when he beat Eamon Halferty by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score 2-1 for the Horse & Jockey. After this the Diamond took control and won the final three games by 2-0 score lines with their winners being Brendan O'Mullan, Chris Gordon and Ian Boal who defeated Sam McCalmont, Mark Davidson and Dean Hill to leave the final score 4-2 for the Diamond Bar.

Brett McLaughlin had to come from being one down to win 2-1 against Lee Wright. Wayne Lewis levelled the match when he defeated Ryan Foster by a 2-1 score line. Pat McAnally restored the lead for Connollys when he had a win in straight frames against Gary Ormandy. Back came Michelin through Gareth Rowe who defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames. In game five Dessie Cooper gave Michelin the lead when he defeated Barry McLarnon 2-1 after losing the first frame. Back came Connollys to level the scores when Connor Connelly defeated Phil Houston by a 2-0 score line and leave the match score 3-3.

The Coach 4-2 Connollys A

Aaron Erwin got the Coach off to a winning start when he beat Joey McNally in straight frames and in game two Paul Gray made it 2-0 for the Coach when he also had a win in straight frames against Sean Donnelly. In game three Billy Andrews increased the lead to 3-0 when he beat Alan Smyth in three frames. Connollys made a bit of a comeback when they won the next two games through Kevin Scullion who beat Paul Shaw by a 2-1 score line and then Peter Kyle who beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames to make the score 3-2 for the Coach. In the last game Philip McAllister defeated Niall McElroy by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame to leave the final score 4-2 for the Coach.

Diamond Bar 1-5 Michelin Inbetweeners

Lee Wright got Michelin off to a winning start when he beat Damien White 2-1 after losing the first frame. Gary Ormandy made it 2-0 with a 2-1 win over Declan Heggarty and Gareth Rowe had a win in straight frames over Adrian Mann. Paul Bates put the away team into a 1-0 lead when he beat George McCullough in straight frames. Derek Dunlop levelled for Fairhill when he beat David Calderwood also in straight frames. In game three Justin Kilpatrick gave the Fairhill the lead when he defeated Gregory Shaw by a 2-0 score line but back came the Slemish to level the match when Gary Rodgers came from being one down to win 2-1 against Paul Hayes after this the Fairhill won the last two games by 2-1 score lines there winners being Robert Graham and Ritchie Irwin who beat Chris Ramsey and Ryan Logan to leave the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Michelin Inbetweeners 4-2 Horse & Jockey

Gary Hillis gave the Horse & Jockey the lead when he beat Lee Wright in straight frames. Chris Penny levelled the match when he defeated Dean Hill 2-1. Michelin took the lead through Gary Ormandy who defeated Mark Davidson in straight frames the in game four Gareth Rowe increased the lead for Michelin when he beat Sam McCalmont also in straight frames. In game five Horse & Jockey pulled a game back through Henry Butler when he defeated Finton Long 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the final game Phil Houston wrapped it all up for Michelin when he defeated Eddie Maxwell by a 2-0 score line to leave the final score 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Results - Week 19 - Tuesday 3rd April 2012

Connollys B 6 - 0 Social Cobwebs 

The home team got off to a good start when they won the first three games without dropping a frame. There winners being Dean Dunlop, Pat McAnally and Ryan Foster who defeated Johnny Holmes, Jimmy Knowles and Chris McGaughey. In game four Alan Davidson increased the lead when he beat Stephen Holmes by a 2-1 score line. The last two games were also won in straight frames the winners being Connor Connolly and Barry McLarnon who beat Ricky McNeill and Darren Magee to leave the final score 6-0 for Connollys B.

Horse & Jockey 0 - 6 Slemish Hotshots 

Johnny Laing won the first frame for Horse & Jockey but lost out in the last two frames to Chris Ramsey 2-1 to put the Slemish ahead. Game two was a replica of game one with Paul Bates winning the last two games for a 2-1 victory over Gary Hillis to make the match score 2-0 for the Hotshots. The Hotshots then ran away with the match winning the remaining four games all by 2-0 score lines. The winners for Slemish were Gregory Shaw, Gary Rodgers, Chris Adams and Ryan Logan who defeated Sam McCalmont, Mark Davidson, Dean Hill and Henry Butler to leave the final score 6-0 for the Hotshots.

Paul Shaw won the first frame for the Coach but George McCullough fought back to win the last two frames for a 2-1 victory for the Fairhill. In game two Justin Kilpatrick doubled the lead for the Fairhill when he beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames. Paul Gray pulled one back for the Coach when he beat Derek Dunlop by a 2-1 score line. In game four Ritchie Irwin restored the two game lead when he beat James Miller 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game five Paul Hayes made it 4-1 for the Hustlers when he beat Philip McAllister by a 2-1 score line. In the last game Robert Graham won the first frame but Aaron Erwin won the next two frames to leave the final score 4-2 to the Fairhill Hustlers.

Back came the Moat and they took the lead for a second time when Alan Rainey defeated David Armstrong by a 2-1 score line. Alan Armstrong levelled for Michelin with a straight frames victory over Brandon Rainey. Michelin took the lead for the first time when Brian Hanna beat David Carlisle 2-0 and Harry Eagleson secured the victory for Michelin when he beat George Crothers 2-0 to leave the final score 4-2 for Michelin Masters.

Sean Donnelly got Connollys off to a good start when he beat Ross Hill 2-1 .Adam Gordon levelled the match when he defeated Kevin Scullion in straight frames . Joey McNally restored the lead for Connollys with a win in straight frames over Dennis Keenan. In game four Alan Smyth increased the lead for Connollys to 3-1 when he defeated Richard Turtle 2-1 after losing the first frame. Richard Campbell reduced the deficit when he had a 2-1 win over Niall McElroy and in the final game Brian Boyd had a walk over as Connollys only had five players to leave the final score 3-3.

Michelin Inbetweeners 1 - 5 Fairhill Hustlers 

Fairhill landed a massive blow to Inbetweeners title hopes as they steam rolled them by winning the first five games. George McCullough came from behind to beat Lee Wright 2-1The next two games were won in straight frames with the winners being Derek Dunlop and Paul Hayes who defeated Gareth Rowe and Phil Houston. In game four Robert Graham had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Chris Penny and in game five Ritchie Irwin beat Dessie Cooper by a 2-1 score line to make the score 5-0 for the Fairhill. In the final game Gary Ormandy saved a white wash by defeating Justin Kilpatrick in straight frames to leave the final score 5-1 for the Fairhill.

Results - Week 18 - Tuesday 27th March 2012

Moat Aces 3 - 3 Social Sports 

K.D. Crabbe put the Aces ahead when he beat Ross Hill in straight frames. David Carlisle doubled the match score when he defeated Adam Gordon by a 2-1 score line. In the third game Social Sports pulled one back through Brian Boyd who defeated Louise Grattan and in game four Richard Campbell levelled the match score at 2-2 when he came from one frame down to win 2-1 against Chris Dickson. In game five the Moat took the lead again when George Crothers beat Richard Turtle in straight frames. As the Moat only had five players this made the match score 3-3.

Diamond Bar 4 - 2 Social Cobwebs

Jimmy Knowles got the Cobwebs off to a good start when he beat Ian Boal 2-1 after losing the first frame. Damian White levelled the match at 1-1 when he beat Johnny Holmes 2-1 also coming from one frame down. Declan Heggarty gave the Diamond Bar the lead when he had a win in straight frames against Stephen Holmes . In game four Ricky McNeill once again levelled the match at 2-2 with a 2-0 win over Adrian Mann. Brendan O'Mullan gave the home team the lead when he beat Chris McGaughey in straight frames and as the Social Cobwebs only had five players this made the match score 4-2 for the Diamond Bar.

Brett McLaughlin gave the away team the lead when he defeated George McCullough by a 2-1 score line. Justin Kilpatrick came from one down to defeat Pat McAnally 2-1. Justin had an eight ball clearance in the third frame. In game three Dean Dunlop also came from one down to win 2-1 against Paul Hayes and Ryan Foster beat Derek Dunlop 2-1 to make the match score 3-1 for Connollys. The fifth game was won by Robert Graham in straight frames over Connor Connolly. In the final game Barry McLarnon defeated Ritchie Irwin by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score 4-2 for Connollys B.

In the first game Rick McMaster had a win in straight frames against David Calderwood. Gary Rodgers levelled the match score at 1-1 when he beat Brian Hanna in three frames. David Armstrong put the Masters ahead when he beat Chris Adams in straight frames. In game four Rodney Fleck levelled the game at 2-2 when he beat Paul McAuley by a 2-0 score line and in game five Ryan Logan put the Slemish ahead for the first time when he defeated Alan Armstrong in straight frames. In the last game Harry Eagleson defeated Damian Keenan by a 2-0 score line to leave the final match score 3-3
