Results - Week 10 - Tuesday 9th December 2014

Fairhill Hustlers 1 - 5 The Inbetweeners

Gary Ormandy got the away team off to a good start when he defeated Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score line. Lee Wright made it two for the Inbetweeners when he beat Glenn Mairs in straight frames. In the third game Phil Houston increased the lead to 3-0 when he beat George McCullough also in straight frames with the help of an 8ball clearance in the first frame. In game four Ryan Logan had a 2-0 win over Justin Kilpatrick to make the match score 4-0 to the Inbetweeners. In game five the Hustlers pulled a game back when Robert Graham defeated Gareth Rowe in straight frames and in the final game Paul Francey made the score 5-1 for the Inbetweeners when he beat Paul Hayes by a 2-0 score line.

The Coach 2 - 4 Towers Tavern

The home team took the lead when they won the first game through Cliffy Allison who beat Dean Greer in straight frames. The Towers Tavern levelled the match through James Millar who defeated Darren Gilmore 2-1 after losing the first frame. The Towers took the lead when Drew Sloan beat Davy Gillespie by a 2-1 score line. In game four the Coach levelled the match through David Carlisle who beat Allister Law by a 2-0 score line.  The Towers took the lead again when K.D. Crabbe had a win in straight frames over Frazer Young and in the final game Shane Moody defeated Jimmy Gillespie by a 2-0 score line for a final match score of 4-2 for the Towers Tavern.

Michelin Masters 5 - 1 Mighty Moat

The Moat took the lead through David Nicholl who defeated Jimmy Knowles in straight frames but the Masters squared the match when David Armstrong defeated Martin Hill 2-0 with the help of an 8ball clearance in the first frame. In game three Rick McMaster had a 2-1 win over Daniel Magill. The last three games all went the same way with Michelin winning all three games by 2-1 score lines after they had all lost the first frames. There winners being Alan Armstrong, Chris Penny and Brian Hanna who had an 8ball clearance in frame three the Mighty Moat losers were Dean Robinson, Steven Magill and Alan Rainey to leave the final match score of 5-1 to the Michelin Masters.

Social Club 2 - 3 Fairhill Dreamers

The Fairhill Dreamers won the first game to take a 1-0 lead when Ian Dewar beat Brian Boyd in straight frames but back came the Social Club to level the scores when Eddie Fleck defeated Mark McClelland also in straight frames. In game three the Fairhill Dreamers took the lead again when Sean Brannigan had a win in straight frames against Ross Hill to make the match score 2-1 for the Fairhill. In game four the Social Club drew level when Albert McBride defeated Gary Allen in straight frames to make the match score 2-2. In game five Linzi McClelland defeated May Barr by a 2-0 score line for a final match score of 3-2 for the Fairhill. In the final game it was declared void as both teams only had five players to leave the final score of 3-2 for the Fairhill Dreamers.

Diamond Dazzlers 6 - 0 Diamond Duffers

In this Portglenone derby it was a one sided affair with the Dazzlers running up a 6-0 score line and only dropping one frame in the last game. Their first five winners were Malcolm Graffin, Brendan O’Mullan, Chris Gordon, Adrian Rourke and Robert Artt who defeated Jason Olgilvy, Steven Douglas, Ryan McCarroll, Matthew Peacock and Tam McMaster to take a 5-0 lead for the Dazzlers. In the last game Ian Boal had to come back from being one down to win 2-1 against Steven Anderson to make the final score of 6-0 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Re-Arranged Match from Week 5 04/11/14

Diamond Duffers 0 - 6 The Mighty Moat

In the first game Steven Magill put the Mighty Moat ahead when he beat Ryan McCarroll 2-1 after losing the first frame. The next two games were both won in straight frames when Daniel Magill and Michael Thompson beat Ryan McGerr and Steven Anderson. In games four and five both were won by the Mighty Moat by 2-1 score lines, their winners being David Nicholl and Colin Taylor who beat Matthew Peacock and Tam McMaster to make the match score 5-0 for the Moat. The Moat won the last game as the Diamond only had five players for a final match score of 6-0 for the Mighty Moat.

Results - Week 9 - Tuesday 2nd December 2014

Diamond Duffers 2 - 4 Michelin Masters

Jimmy Knowles got the away team off to a good start when he defeated Tam McMaster in straight frames to give the visitors a lead. In game two the Duffers equalised after Ryan McGerr came from being one down to win 2-1 against Chris Penny. Allan Armstrong restored the lead for the Masters when he defeated Ryan McCarroll in straight frames but back came the Diamond Duffers to level the match once again when Matthew Peacock defeated Rick McMaster in straight frames to make the match score 2-2. In game five Michelin regained the lead for the third time through Brian Hanna who beat Steven Anderson in straight frames and David Armstrong had a walkover win in the final game for Michelin when the Diamond failed to field a player and this left the final match score at 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

Fairhill Hustlers 6 - 0 Moat Mad Dogs

In the first game Sheree Agnew Tufts won the first frame but George McCullough fought back by winning the next two frames for a 2-1 win. The second game was a replica of the first with Allen Agnew winning the first frame for the Moat but Justin Kilpatrick won the last two frames for a 2-1 win. In game three Richard Campbell made it 3-0 for the Fairhill when he defeated Keith Agnew in straight frames. Game four started with an 8ball clearance from Glenn Mairs who also won the second frame for a 2-o win over Richard Bamber. In game five Robert Graham also had a win in straight frames over William Wilson and in the final game Andy Tufts won the first frame against Paul Hayes but Paul fought back to win the game 2-1 and make the final match score 6-0 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Mighty Moat 2 - 4 Diamond Dazzlers

The Moat got off to a flyer when David Nicholl defeated Chris Gordon by a 2-1 score line. Malcolm Graffin levelled the scores when he beat Colin Taylor also by a 2-1 score line. After this the Diamond took control of the match with them winning the next three games all by 2-0 score lines, their winners being Robert Artt, Brendan O’Mullan and Adrian Rourke who beat Alan Rainey, Dean Robinson and Steven Magill to leave the match score of 4-1 for the Diamond. In the last game the Mighty Moat claimed another point when Daniel Magill defeated Ian Boal in straight frames to make the final match score of 4-2 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

The Meatballs 5 - 1 The Coach

Barry McLarnon gave the Meatballs the lead when he defeated Clifford Allison by a 2-1 score line. In game two the Coach levelled the score when David Gillespie defeated Brett McLaughlin in straight frames. In game three Pat McAnally had a win in straight frames over Frazer Young. Alan Davidson made it 3-1 for the Meatballs when he defeated David Carlisle by a 2-1 score line. In game five Owen Butler had a win in straight frames over Jimmy Gillespie and in the final game David O’Sullivan also had a win in straight frames over Alan Balmer to make the final score line of 5-1 for the Meatballs.

The Inbetweeners 5 - 1 Fairhill Dreamers

The Inbetweeners raced into a 2-0 match lead by winning the first two games both by 2-0 score lines, their winners being Paul Francey and Brian Hannaway who defeated Kenny Allen and Gary Allen. In game three Gary Ormandy made the match score 3-0 when when he beat Sean Brannigan by a 2-1 score line. In game four the Fairhill pulled one back through Nigel McMaster who beat Lee Wright 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game five Linzi McClelland won the first frame against Ryan Logan but Ryan won the next two frames for a 2-1 win and in the last game Phil Houston with the help of an 8ball clearance in the first frame defeated Ian Dewar in straight frames to make the final match score of 5-1 for the Inbetweeners.

Social Club 0 - 6 Connolly’s A

Connolly’s raced into a 3-0 lead without dropping a point, their winners being John McAllister, Gary Erwin and Mark Campbell who defeated Marc McMullan, Eddie Fleck and John Fleck in straight frames. In game four Joey McNally defeated Albert McBride by a 2-1 score line. In game five Gary Clarke had a win in straight frames against Ross Hill to make the match score 5-0 for Connolly’s A. In the final game Dean Dunlop had a win in straight frames over Brian Boyd to make the final match score of 6-0 for Connolly’s A.

Diamond Duffers 1 - 5 Towers Tavern

The Towers Tavern got off to a great start by winning the first two games without dropping a frame their winners were James Millar and Allister Law who defeated Jason Ogilvy and Tam McMaster. In game three Drew Sloan beat Steven Anderson by a 2-1 score line and after that Shane Moody made it 4-0 for the Towers Tavern when he had a win in straight frames over Matthew Peacock. In game five the Diamond Duffers pulled one back with a 2-1 win for Ryan McCarroll against David O'Neill but in the final game it was back to the usual for the Towers when KD Crabbe defeated Ryan McGirr in straight frames to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Towers Tavern.

Mighty Moat 4 - 2 Fairhill Hustlers 

Michael Thompson got the Mighty Moat off on a winning way when he defeated Paul Hayes by a 2-1 score line. Alan Rainey increased the lead for the Moat when he beat Richard Campbell also by a 2-1 score line after being one frame down. In game three Daniel Magill made it 3-0 for the Mighty Moat when he beat Glenn Mairs in straight frames. The Fairhill then started a comeback by winning the next two games Justin Kilpatrick defeated David Nicholl by a 2-1 score line and Robert Graham beat Martin Hill in straight frames to make the match score 3-2 for the Moat. In the final game Colin Taylor restored the Moats lead when he defeated Ritchie Irwin by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 4-2 for the Mighty Moat.

Connolly's A 1 - 5 The Inbetweeners

Brian Hannaway put the away team into the lead with a straight frames win over Gary Clarke and Gary Ormandy doubled the lead when he beat Gary Erwin by a 2-1 scor eline. In game three Phil Houston made it three for the Inbetweeners when he defeated Joey McNally in straight frames. In game four Connolly's pulled a game back with a win from John McAllister who had to come from being one down against Gareth Rowe to make the match score 3-1 for the Inbetweeners. In game five Paul Francey had a 2-0 win over Mark Campbell and in the final game Dessie Cooper also had a 2-0 win over Keiran Butler to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Inbetweeners.

Michelin Masters 3 - 3 Diamond Dazzlers 

Michelin took the lead through Mary Joe McCourt who was making her debut in the league, she defeated Robert Artt by a 2-1 score line. The Diamond levelled the match score at 1-1 when Malcolm Graffin beat Chris Penny by a 2-1 score line. Michelin regained the lead through David Armstrong who came from one down to beat Brendan Graffin 2-1. Once again the Diamond levelled through Chris Gordon who beat Jimmy Knowles by a 2-1 score line. in game five the Diamond took the lead for the first time in the match when Adrian Rourke beat Alan Armstrong by a 2-1 score line to make the match score 3-2 for the Diamond. In the final game Brian Hanna had a win in straight frames over Ian Boal to make the final match score of 3-3 in a very tight game.

Sheree Agnew Tufts got the Moat off to a good start when she beat Ricky Allen in straight frames. Nigel McMaster levelled for the Dreamers when he beat Allan Agnew in straight frames. In game three Sean Brannigan defeated Keith Agnew by a 2-1 score line and in the fourth game Richard Bamber came from one down to defeat Gary Allen by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score at 2-2. In game five Ian Dewar had a win in straight frames over William Wilson and in the final game Linzi McClelland defeated Andy Tufts by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Fairhill Dreamers.

This game was a bit of a mismatch with the Meatballs taking out their aggression on the Social , and all the games were won by the Meatballs without dropping any frames, their winners being Pat McAnally, Barry McLarnon, David O'Sullivan, Dee Irwin, Ryan Foster and Connor Connolly who defeated Brian Boyd, Marc McMullan, Eddie Fleck, Albert McBride, John Fleck and Ross Hill respectively to leave the final match score of 6-0 for the Meatballs.

The away team roared into a 2-0 lead when Keiran Butler beat Ian Dewar and Mark Campbell defeated Kenny Allen both by 2-0 score lines. Joey McNally made it 3-0 when he came from being one down to defeat Sean Brannigan by a 2-1 score line. In the fourth game Gary Clarke defeated Gary Allen in straight frames to make the match score 4-0 for Connolly's A. In game five Gary Erwin also had a win in straight frames over Nigel McMaster and in the final game Pat McAnally (snr) finished it all off with a 2-0 win over Guy Rodgers to leave the final match score of 6-0 for Connolly's A.

Diamond Dazzlers 2 - 4 Connolly’s A

Connolly’s took the lead when Gary Clarke had a win in straight frames over Adrian Rourke. The Dazzlers drew level when Malcolm Graffin came from one down to win 2-1 against Gary Erwin. Connolly’s regained the lead through Joey McNally when he beat Chris Gordon in straight frames. In game four the Dazzlers drew level for the second time through Robert Artt who had to come from being 1-0 down to beat Mark Campbell 2-1. In game five John McAllister won the first frame against Ian Boal but Ian fought back with an 8ball clearance in frame two only for John to win the third frame for a 2-1 win and a 3-2 lead for Connolly’s A in the match. In the final game Keiran Butler had a 2-0 win over Brendan O’Mullan to leave the final match score of 4-2 for Connolly’s A.

Pat McAnally lost out to Steven Anderson in the first frame but Pat won the next two frames to secure a 2-1 win. Ryan Foster made it 2-0 for the Meatballs with a win in straight frames over Tam McMaster. The rest of this match was a very one sided affair with the Diamond failing to win another frame. The Meatballs winners were David O’Sullivan, Alan Davidson, Dee Irwin and Marcus Westhall who defeated Matthew Peacock, Ryan McGirr, Ryan McCarroll and Steven Douglas respectively all by 2-0 score lines to leave the final match score of 6-0 for the Meatballs.

The Moat won the first game through Ricky Moore who defeated Ross Hill in straight frames. In game two William Wilson also had a win in straight frames over Eddie Fleck for a 2-0 lead for the Moat Mad Dogs. In game three the Social Club pulled one back through Marc McMullan who beat Allan Agnew by a 2-1 score line. In game four Albert McBride levelled the match score at 2-2 when he beat Richard Bamber also by a 2-1 score line. The Moat went ahead again when in game five Andy Tufts had a 2-1 win over John Fleck. In the final game the Social Club levelled the match score at 3-3 when Brian Boyd had a 2-1 win over Sheree Agnew-Tufts.

The Mighty Moat took the lead when Colin Taylor came from behind to win 2-1 against Lee Wright. David Nicholl made the score all square when he defeated Dessie Cooper 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game five Brian Hannaway had to come from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Darren Campbell. In the final game Alan Rainey found himself one down against Gareth Rowe but fought back to win 2-1 with the help of an 8ball clearance to gain a draw for his team.

Coach 1 - 5 Michelin Masters

Cliffy Allison had a good victory over Jimmy Knowles for the Coach after being one frame down to win 2-1 and he also had an 8ball clearance in the deciding frame. Michelin levelled the match with a 2-1 win for Chris Penny over Darren Gilmore. In game three David Armstrong had a win in straight frames over Alan Balmer and David also had an 8ball clearance in the first frame to leave the match score at 2-1 for the Michelin Masters. In game four Rick McMaster had to come from one down to win 2-1 over David Gillespie. In the last two games both went the same way with wins for the Masters, their winners being Alan Armstrong and Brian Hanna who beat Frazer Young and David Carlisle both in straight frames to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Results - Week 6 - Tuesday 11th November 2014

Fairhill Hustlers 1-5 The Coach
 
The Coach travelled out to Ahoghill and they got a great result. In the first game Darren Gilmore came from behind to win 2-1 against Glenn Mairs and Cliff Allison made it 2-0 for the Coach when he also came from behind to defeat Richard Campbell 2-1. In the third game David Carlisle had a 2-1 victory over George McCullough to make the score 3-0 for the Coach and when David Gillespie won in straight frames against Justin Kilpatrick he made the match score 4-0. In game five Robert Graham pulled one back for the Fairhill with a straight frames win over Frazer Young. In the final game Jimmy Gillespie wrapped it all up with a win over Ritchie Irwin by a 2-0 score line to make the final match score 5-1 for the Coach Bar.

The Diamond raced into a 2-0 lead through Ryan McCarroll and Steven Douglas who both had wins in straight frames over Ricky Allen and Kenny Allen. In game three the Dreamers pulled one back through Gary Allen who defeated Steven Anderson by a 2-1 score line. In game four Matthew Peacock restored the two game advantage for the Diamond when he beat Nigel McMaster in straight frames. In the fifth game the Dreamers pulled another one back when Ian Dewar beat Ryan McGerr also in straight frames to leave the match score at 3-2 to the Diamond. In the final game Mark McClelland lost the first frame to Jason Olgilvy but he fought back to win the remaining two frames for a victory and to secure a draw for his team and the final match score of 3-3.

The leaders travelled into the town to take on the Moat and got off to a flying start by winning the first three games their winners being Jimmy Knowles, David Armstrong and Chris Penny who defeated Ricky Moore, Richard Bamber and Sheree Agnew all in straight frames. In game four the Moat pulled one back through Allen Agnew who defeated Rick McMaster by a 2-1 score line to make the score 3-1 for the Michelin Masters. After this setback Michelin then won the last two games through Alan Armstrong and Brian Hanna who defeated William Wilson and Adele Rutherford in straight frames to make the final score of 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

The Fairhill got off to a good start when Sean Brannigan defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames but sorry to say it didn’t get any better for the Fairhill as they won only one more frame in the entire match. David O’Sullivan levelled the match score at 1-1 when he had a win in straight frames against Gary Allen. In game three Guy Rodgers won the first frame for the Dreamers but lost out in the next two against Owen Butler who won 2-1. The next three games were all won in straight frames for the Meatballs there winners being Barry McLarnon, Ryan Foster and Pat McAnally who defeated Ricky Allen, Nigel McMaster and Linzi McClelland respectively to leave the final score of 5-1 for the Meatballs.

Mighty Moat 4-2 The Coach

The Coach took the lead when Warren Gray beat Daniel Magill 2-1. Martin Hill levelled the score when he defeated Frazer Young by a 2-1 score line after he had lost the first frame. In game three Cliff Allison came from one behind to defeat Dean Robinson by a 2-1 score line and put the Coach back into a 2-1 lead in the match. Alan Rainey levelled the match score for the second time when he beat David Carlisle by a 2-1 score line. In game five David Nicholl gave the home team the lead in the match for the first time when he defeated David Gillespie also by a 2-1 score line. In the last game the Mighty Moat won the match when Colin Taylor defeated Darnell McCrory in straight frames to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Mighty Moat.

Michelin Masters 5-1 Fairhill Dreamers

David Armstrong got the Masters off to a winning start when he defeated Ricky Allen in straight frames. Chris Penny doubled the score when he beat Gary Allen also in straight frames. In game three the Fairhill pulled one game back when Sean Brannigan had to come from one down to beat Jimmy Knowles by a 2-1 score line. In game four Alan Armstrong restored the two game difference when he beat Linzi McClelland by a 2-1 score line. In game five Rick McMaster increased the lead for the Masters when he defeated Ian Dewar by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Brian Hanna beat Nigel McMaster by a 2-1 score line but had to come from behind after he had lost the first frame to make the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

George McCullough gave the home team the lead when he beat Marc McMullan in straight frames and Glenn Mairs doubled the score when he beat John Fleck also in straight frames. In game three Ross Hill pulled one game back for the Social Club when he beat Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score line. In game four Robert Graham restored the two game lead when he beat Albert McBride in straight frames to make the match score 3-1 to the Hustlers. Paul Hayes made the score 4-1 to the Hustlers when he defeated Brian Boyd also in straight frames. In the last game Ritchie Irwin made the final match score 5-1 to the Fairhill Hustlers when he beat May Barr also in straight frames.

The Towers Tavern 3-3 The Inbetweeners

The Inbetweeners took the first game when Steven Heron had a come from behind win over Dean Greer for a 2-1 win. Philip Houston doubled the lead when he defeated Drew Sloan in straight frames. In game three the Towers Tavern pulled one back through Shane Moody who defeated Ryan Logan in straight frames. Gareth Rowe restored the two game lead at 3-1 for the Inbetweeners when he beat David O'Neill also by a 2-0 score line. The Towers Tavern pulled another one back through James Millar who defeated Paul Francey also by a 2-0 score line and in the final game K.D. Crabbe made the match score all square at 3-3 when he defeated Gary Ormandy 2-1.

The Meatballs 3-3 Connolly's A

Pat McAnally defeated Gary Clarke 2-1 in the first game. Ryan Foster doubled the score when he defeated Mark Campbell in straight frames to make the match score 2-0 for the Meatballs. In game three Connolly's A got a game back through Keiran Butler who defeated Barry McLarnon in straight frames. In game four Connolly's A levelled the match when John McAllister beat Brett McLaughlin in straight frames for a 2-2 match score. In game five Dee Erwin came from being one down to win 2–1 against Joey McNally to put the Meatballs ahead once more. In the final game Pat McAnally (snr) defeated Marcus Westhall in straight frames to leave the final score at 3-3 and a deserved draw.

Diamond Dazzlers 6-0 Moat Mad Dogs

This was a very one sided match with all games being won by 2-0 score lines . The Diamond winners were Chris Gordon, Malcolm Graffin and Robert Artt who defeated Alfie Rutherford, William Wilson and Allen Agnew and this made the match score 3-0 for the Diamond Dazzlers. The next three winners for the Diamond were Brendan O'Mullan, Adrian Rourke and Ian Boal who beat Sheree Agnew-Tuffs, Richard Bamber and Andrew Tuffs for a final score of 6-0 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 3 - Tuesday 21st October 2014

Mighty Moat 2-4 Meatballs
 
The Meatballs got off to a great start when they won the first two games both in three frames. In game one Barry McLarnon beat Michael Thompson 2-1. In game two Pat McAnally defeated Colin Taylor also 2-1. Ryan Foster made the match score 3-0 to the Meatballs when he defeated Daniel Magill in straight frames. David Nicholl put the home team on the score sheet when he had a win in straight frames over Alan Davidson. In game five David O'Sullivan restored the three game difference when he defeated Dean Robinson also in straight frames. In the final game the home team won another game through Alan Rainey who defeated Brett McLaughlin by a 2-0 score line for a final score of 4-2 for the Meatballs.

Towers Tavern 6-0 Social Club
 
Derek Dunlop won the first frame for the Social Club but lost the next two to David O'Neill for an early lead for the Towers Tavern. James Millar made the score 2-0 for the home team when he beat Eddie Fleck 2-0. The Towers Tavern took the remaining four games all by 2-0 wins their winners being Dean Greer, Drew Sloan, Paul Smyth and K.D. Crabbe who defeated Ross Hill, Brian Boyd, John Fleck and Marc McMullan to leave the final match score 6-0 for the Towers Tavern.

Inbetweeners 4-2 Michelin Masters
 
The away team got off to a good start when David Armstrong had an 8ball clearance in frame one but this was not enough to win the game because Paul Francey won the remaining two frames for a 2-1 win for the Inbetweeners. In game two the Masters levelled the score when Jimmy Knowles beat Brian Hannaway in straight frames. Gary Ormandy restored the lead for the Inbetweeners when he beat Rick McMaster by a 2-1 score line. In game four Lee Wright increased the lead to 3-1 for the home team when he beat Alan Armstrong in straight frames with the help of an 8ball clearance in frame one. The Masters pulled another game back when Chris Penny defeated Gareth Rowe by a 2-0 score line but in the final game Philip Houston defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Inbetweeners.

Diamond Dazzlers 4-2 Fairhill Hustlers
 
The home team raced into a 3-0 lead in the first game Ian Boal beat Paul Hayes 2-1 after losing the first frame. Malcolm Graffin made it 2-0 when he beat Justin Kilpatrick 2-1 also after losing the first frame. In game three Chris Gordon defeated Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score line. The Hustlers won the next two games to make the match score 3-2 for the Dazzlers, their first winner being George McCullough who defeated Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-1 score and in the next game Robert Graham had a win in straight frames over Adrian Rourke. In the final game Robert Artt came from behind to defeat Ritchie Irwin 2-1 for a final match score of 4-2 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 2 - Tuesday 14th October 2014

 Fairhill Dreamers 2-4 Fairhill Hustlers
 
In this derby match the Hustlers got the first blood when Glenn Mairs beat Ricky Allen in straight frames. In game two Ian Dewar beat Richard Campbell 2-1 to level the match score at 1-1 even though Richard had an 8ball clearance in the second frame. The Dreamers took the lead in game three when Nigel McMaster came from being a frame down to win 2-1 against Paul Hayes. Game four saw the match all square after Robert Graham defeated Sean Brannigan after being a frame down. In the first frame Sean had an 8ball clearance. In game five Mark McClelland won the first frame against Ritchie Irwin but Ritchie fought back for a 2-1 win to make the match score 3-2 for the Hustlers. In the final game Linzi McClelland also won the first frame but lost the remaining two games for a 2-1 win for Justin Kilpatrick and this left the final match score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Paul Francey got the away team off to a flyer with a 2-0 win over Steven Douglas. In the second game Steven Mitchell doubled the match score to 2-0 when he beat Matthew Peacock in straight frames and in game three it was a similar story when Philip Houston had a 2-0 win over Ryan McGerr to leave the halfway score of 3-0 to the Inbetweeners. In game four the Diamond pulled one back through Ryan McCarroll who defeated Ryan Logan by a 2-1 score line. The last two games both went to the Inbetweeners by 2-0 score lines, their winners being Gary Ormandy and Gareth Rowe who defeated Jason Ogilvy and Steven Anderson to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Inbetweeners.

In the first game Ricky Moore won the first frame against David O'Nell but David turned it around and won the next two frames for a 2-1 win. In game two Drew Sloan had a win in straight frames against Allan Agnew. In game three James Millar also had a win in straight frames aginst Richard Bamber and in game for K.D. Crabbe also had a win in straight frames against Keith Agnew for a 4-0 lead for Towers Tavern. In game five Aaron Browne defeated William Wilson by a 2-1 score line and in the last game Alastair Law defeated Sheree Agnew Tuffs by a 2-0 score line for a final match score of 6-0 for Towers Tavern.

Michelin Masters 3-3 Meatballs
 
This game featured the big two in the league; Meatballs who were previously Connolly's B and Michelin Masters. In the very first frame Pat McAnally had an 8ball clearance against Chris Penny who then won frame two but the winner was Pat when he won the last frame. In game two Ryan Foster doubled the lead for the Meatballs when he beat Brian Hanna in straight frames. Michelin won game three through David Armstrong who came from being one down to defeat Alan Davidson 2-1. In game four the Meatballs restored the two game lead when Barry McLarnon defeated Rick McMaster 2-0. Back came the Masters when they won the fifth game through Alan Armstrong who beat David O'Sullivan in straight frames to make the match score 3-2 for the Meatballs. In the final game Jimmy Knowles defeated Dee Irwin by a 2-1 score line for a final match score of 3-3.

Gary Clarke got the home team off to a good start when he beat Cliffy Allison in straight frames. Mark Campbell doubled the match score when he defeated David Gillespie also by a 2-0 score line. In game three Joey McNally beat Alan Balmer by a 2-1 score line after he had lost the first frame. The next two games were both won in straight frames by Keiran Butler and John McAllister who defeated Darren Gilmore and Davy Carlisle to make the match score 5-0 for Connolly's A.. In the final game the Coach avoided the whitewash when Frazer Young defeated Peter Kyle by a 2-1 score line for a final match score of 5-1 for Connolly's A.

The away team took the first game in straight frames through Ian Boal who defeated Derek Dunlop. In the second game Adrian Rourke also won in straight as he defeated Marc McMullan by a 2-0 score. The next three games were all won in straight by the Dazzlers there winners being Chris Gordon, Robert Artt and Malcolm Graffin who defeated Eddie Fleck, John Fleck and Ross Hill by 2-0 score lines to make the match score 5-0 for the Dazzlers. In the final game Brendan O'Mullan rounded it all off with a 2-0 win over Albert McBride for a final score of 6-0 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 1 - Tuesday 7th October 2014

Mighty Moat 2-4 Connolly's A

Michael Thompson got the Mighty Moat off to a winning start when he beat Mark Campbell by a 2-0 score line. In game two Connolly's levelled the score with a 2-0 win for Peter Kyle over Daniel Magill, but back came the Moat to take the lead for a second time when David Nicholl defeated Keiran Butler by a 2-1 score line. The away team levelled the match through Gary Clarke who defeated Steven Magill in straight frames. In game five John McAllister had a straight frames victory against Dean Robinson to put Connolly's into a 3-2 lead and this was made 4-2 when Joey McNally came from being one down to win 2-1 against Alan Rainey for a final score of 4-2 for Connolly's A.

The Masters got off to a winning start when Jimmy Knowles beat Eddie Fleck in straight frames. The second game went the same way as David Armstrong beat Derek Dunlop also in straight frames for a 2-0 match score for the Masters. In game three the Masters increased their lead when Rick McMaster had a 2-0 win over Ross Hill. In game four Albert McBride won the first frame for the Social Club but Alan Armstrong fought back to win 2-1. The last two games went the same way when Brian Hanna and Chris Penny both had 2-0 wins against May Barr and Marc McMullan for a 6-0 win for the Michelin Masters.

Fairhill Hustlers 5-1 Diamond Duffers

The Diamond Duffers got off to a great start by the winning the first game when Jason Ogilvy came from being one down to defeat Ritchie Irwin 2-1. The second game went to the Fairhill through Glenn Mairs when he beat Steven Anderson in straight frames for a 2-0 win and leave the match at 1-1. In game three George McCullough beat Matthew Peacock by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score at 2-1 for the Hustlers. The last three games were all won by Fairhill their winners were Paul Hayes, Richard Campbell and Justin Kilpatrick who had 2-0 wins over Ryan McGerr, Steven Douglas and Ryan McCarroll to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Diamond Dazzlers 5-1 Coach

The Coach travelled to Portglenone and won the first game by a 2-1 score line through David Carlisle who beat Brendan O'Mullan after being a frame down. In game two Malcolm Graffin beat Darren Gilmore in straight frames to level up the scores. Robert Artt also had a win in straight frames over David Gillespie and Chris Gordon increased the lead for the Dazzlers when he defeated Jimmy Gillespie in straight frames to make the match score 3-1 for the Diamond Dazzlers. In game five Adrian Rourke beat Clifford Ellison by a 2-1 score line with Adrian coming out the winner by a 2-0 score line. In the final game Ian Boal rounded it off for the Dazzlers when he defeated Raymond Lynn also by a 2-0 score line to leave the final score of 5-1 to the Diamond Dazzlers.

Ballee 4-2 Fairhill Dreamers

David O'Neill put Ballee into the lead with a win in straight frames over Kenny Allen. In game two the home team doubled the score to 2-0 when Drew Sloan beat Nigel McMaster by a 2-0 score line. James Millar made it three nil when he also had a win in straight frames over Ricky Allen. In game four the Dreamers pulled one back when Sean Brannigan defeated Allister Law also by a 2-0 score line, and Ian Dewar pulled another one back for the Dreamers when he beat Aaron Browne to make the match score 3-2 for the Ballee. In the last game with everything to play for K.D. Crabbe sealed the win with a win in straight frames over Gary Allen for a final match score of 4-2 for Ballee.
