Results - Week 5 - Tuesday 4th November 2014


Fairhill Dreamers 1-5 The Meatballs
 
The Fairhill got off to a good start when Sean Brannigan defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames but sorry to say it didn’t get any better for the Fairhill as they won only one more frame in the entire match. David O’Sullivan levelled the match score at 1-1 when he had a win in straight frames against Gary Allen. In game three Guy Rodgers won the first frame for the Dreamers but lost out in the next two against Owen Butler who won 2-1. The next three games were all won in straight frames for the Meatballs there winners being Barry McLarnon, Ryan Foster and Pat McAnally who defeated Ricky Allen, Nigel McMaster and Linzi McClelland respectively to leave the final score of 5-1 for the Meatballs.

Moat Mad Dogs 0-6 The Inbetweeners
 
This was a one sided game with the home team only winning two frames in the entire match. The first three games were all won in straight frames by the Inbetweeners with their winners being Lee Wright, Phil Houston and Gary Ormandy who defeated Simon Kennedy, Ricky Moore and Sheree Agnew Tufts for a 3-0 lead for the away team. In game four Ryan Logan defeated Allen Agnew 2-1. In game five Dessie Cooper had a 2-0 win over Richard Bamber and in the final game Gareth Rowe had to come from being one frame down to win 2-1 against William Wilson and leave the final match score of 6-0 for the Inbetweeners.

Coach Bar 5-1 Social Club
 
The home team won the first game through Darnell McCrory who defeated Ross Hill in straight frames. In game two Eddie Fleck levelled the match at 1-1 when he also had a win in straight frames over Paul Gray. Clifford Allison regained the lead for the Coach when he beat Marc McMullan by a 2-0 score line. In game four Frazer Young defeated May Barr by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score at 3-1 for the Coach. The last two games were won by the Coach Bar through David Gillespie and David Carlisle who defeated Albert McBride and Brian Boyd both in straight frames to leave the final score of 5-1 for the Coach Bar.

Michelin Masters 6-0 Fairhill Hustlers
 
Michelin won the first game through Chris Penny when he defeated Ritchie Irwin by a 2-1 score line. Jimmy Knowles made it 2-0 for the home team when he beat Glenn Mairs in straight frames. In game three George McCullough won the first frame against Rick McMaster but Rick came back and won the next two frames for a 2-1 win. The next two games were both won in straight frames by Brian Hanna and David Armstrong against Justin Kilpatrick and Paul Hayes for a 5-0 lead for the Michelin Masters. In the final game Alan Armstrong made it 6-0 for the Michelin Masters when he defeated Robert Graham by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame.
