The home team raced into a 2-0 lead when Drew Sloan and Brian Hanna both had wins in straight frames over Eddie Fleck and John Fleck. They continued the run with a 2-1 win by Rick McMaster over Ross Hill even after Ross had won the first frame. In game four Alan Rainey making his first appearance this season for the Masters had a 2-0 win over Richard Turtle making it 4-0 for Michelin. In game five David Armstrong made it 5-0 for Michelin when he had a 2-1 win against Richard Campbell and in the last game the Sports avoided the whitewash when Joni Millar defeated Harry Eagleson by a 2-0 scoreline for a final score of 5-1 for Michelin Masters.

Horse & Jockey 0-6 Connolly's B
Barry McLarnon had a win in straight frames against Martin McLintock to put the B team ahead. In the second game Brett McLaughlin had to come from being one down to win 2-1 against Richard Handley to give Connolly's B a two nil lead. In frames three through to six the Horse & Jockey were playing good pool but they could not win any games and it was the champions who won all the games by 2-0 scorelines with their winners being Dee Irwin, Marcus Westhall, Alan Davidson and Connor Connolly who beat Eddie Maxwell, Norman Clarke, Raymond Campbell and Henry Butler to leave the final score of 6-0 for Connolly's B.

Connolly's A 2-4 The Coach
The visitors took the lead through David Carlisle who defeated Rory McCormick by a 2-1 scoreline. Rodney Shirley made it two when he also had a 2-1 win against Sean Donnelly. In game three Connolly's pulled one back through Kevin Scullion who beat Davy Gillespie 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game four Derek Steele restored the two game advantage for the Coach when he beat Joey McNally in straight frames to leave the match score of 3-1 for the Coach. In game five Connolly's won another game when William Mitchell had to come from being one down to defeat Darren Gilmore 2-1. In the last game K.D. Crabbe had a 2-1 win over Martin O'Loughlin to leave the final score 4-2 for the Coach.

The Spotty Dogs 0-6 Michelin Inbetweeners
This match was a very one sided affair the first three games were all won in straight frames for the Inbetweeners with their winners being Gareth Rowe, Lee Wright and Gary Ormandy who defeated Malcolm Graffin, Robert Artt and Damian White respectively for a 3-0 lead. In game four Ryan Logan beat Chris Gordon also in straight frames. In game five Brendan O'Mullan at least won a frame against Chris Penney but Chris came back to win 2-1. The final game also went to the Inbetweeners when Philip Houston beat Ian Boal 2-0 for a final score of 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.
