Brett McLaughlin got the away team off to a good start when he beat Ross Hill in straight frames. Richard Turtle levelled the match when he defeated Alan Davidson by a 2-1 score line. Connellys regained the lead when Pat McAnally beat Dennis Keenan in straight frames but once again Sports levelled when Adam Gordon came from being one down to beat Dean Dunlop by a 2-1 score line. In frame five one of the season’s biggest upsets looked on the cards when Sports took the lead through Richard Campbell who beat Ryan Foster 2-1. In the final game Barry McLarnon beat Brian Boyd in straight frames to grab a draw for Connellys B.

Moat Aces 4 - 2 Horse & Jockey
The Moat Aces got off to a flyer when they won the first four games without losing a frame. Jimmy Duffy won the first game when he beat Johnny Laing 2-0. The winners in the next three were Gary Bonnes, Martin Hill and K.D. Crabbe who defeated Mark Davidson, Dean Hill and Sam McCalmont all by 2-0 score lines. In game five Horse & Jockey pulled one back when Henry Butler defeated David Carlisle in straight frames to leave the score 4-1 for the Moat. In the final game Eddie Maxwell got another one back when he defeated Chris Dickson 2-1 to leave the final score 4-2 for the Moat Aces.

Coach Bar 5 - 1 Slemish Hotshots
Rodney Shirley came from being one down to win 2-1 against Ryan Logan and give the Coach the lead. Billy Andrews doubled the score with a 2-1 win over David Calderwood and in the third game Paul Gray made it 3-0 for the Coach when he beat Gregory Shaw in straight frames. In game four Gary Rodgers pulled one back for the Hotshots when he came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Phillip McAllister and to leave the score 3-1 for the Coach. The fight back was short lived because the last two games were won by the home team through Aaron Erwin and Paul Shaw who beat Chris Adams and Rodney Fleck both by 2-0 score lines to leave the final score 5-1 for the Coach.

Connellys A 1 - 5 Michelin Inbetweeners
Gary Ormandy got the away team off to a good start when he beat Niall McElroy in straight frames. Lee Wright made it 2-0 for the Inbetweeners when he beat Peter Kyle by a 2-1 score line. The next two games were won by Gareth Rowe and Finton Long who defeated Kevin Scullion and Sean Donnelly by 2-0 score lines to leave the match score 4-0 for Michelin. In game five Connellys pulled one game back through Joey McNally who beat Chris Penney by a 2-1 score line, and Joey had an eight ball clearance in the first frame. Philip Houston finished the match off for Michelin when he beat Alan Smyth in straight frames for a final score of 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Michelin Masters 6 - 0 Diamond Bar
Brian Hanna got the Masters off to a good start when he beat Damian White in straight frames. In game two Rick McMaster made it two nil when he beat Declan Heggarty 2-1, and Rick had an eight ball clearance in the first frame. The next two games were won by the Masters in straight frames there winners being David and Alan Armstrong who defeated Adrian Mann and Chris Gordon both by 2-0 score lines. In game five Paul McAuley defeated Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-1 score line and in the final game Harry Eagleson wrapped it all up when he had a win in straight frames against Ian Boal to leave the final score 6-0 for Michelin Masters.
