Latest League News

According to our records, there are 6 outstanding fixtures. These fixtures must be played no later than Monday 28th April. Failure to do so may result in the outstanding fixtures being void.

I know that tonight will see Fairhill Hustlers v Michelin Masters played, and also that Monday night will see Ballee Black Ballers v Fairhill Hustlers played.
 
A reminder to all teams that the Top 6 Competition will be held on Tuesday 29th April in Michelin Social club at 8pm.

The bottom 6 competition will be held on Tuesday 29th April in Connolly's Bar at 8pm.

All numbers for annual prize giving and dinner should be given to the League Treasurer Gary Richardson ASAP. The dinner will be held on Friday 2nd May at 7-30pm in Michelin Social Club tickets are £15. This will consist of a 3-course meal, prize ceremony and entertainment.

Would all team captains make sure that all trophies won from last year be returned immediately to the League Treasurer.

Connolly's A 2-4 Michelin Masters

Drew Sloan got the Masters off to a good start when he had a straight frames win over Kevin Scullion with the help of an 8ball clearance in frame one. Jimmy Knowles doubled the score to 2-0 for the Masters when he beat Pat McAnally by a 2-1 score line. Connolly's pulled one back with a win from Sean Donnelly who defeated David Armstrong by a 2-1 scoreline. In game four Rick McMaster restored the two game difference when he beat Johnny Walker in straight frames. In game five Kieran Butler pulled another game back for Connolly's when he beat Alan Rainey by a 2-1 score line and in the final game Alan Armstrong made the final score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters when he beat Joe McNally by a 2-1 score line.

Michelin Inbetweeners 2-4 Connolly's B

Brett McLaughlin put the champions ahead when he beat Finton Long in straight frames but Dessie Cooper levelled the match scores when he came from being one down to win 2-1 against Ryan Foster. Connolly's took the lead again through Pat McAnally who lost the first frame but came back to win 2-1 against Gareth Rowe. In game four Lee Wright levelled the match at 2-2 when he beat Alan Davidson in straight frames. In game five Owen Butler defeated Ryan Logan by a 2-1 score line to make the match score 3-2 for Connolly's. In the final game Dee Erwin defeated Phil Houston in straight frames to make the final match score 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Ballee Black Ballers 4-2 Social Club

Peter Moore got the home off to a good start when he defeated John Fleck in straight frames. In game two Jimmy Barr lost the first frame but fought back to win 2-1 against Eddie Fleck and he did so without potting a black ball. In game three Ross Hill pulled one back for the social club when he defeated Paul Smyth by a 2-0 score line. Neil Weir restored the two game difference when he defeated Dennis Keenan also by a 2-0 score line to make the match score 3-1 for the Ballee. In game four the social club pulled another game back when Marc McMullan had a straight frames win over Dean Robinson. In the final game Allister Law defeated Brian Boyd by a 2-1 score line to make the final match score 4-2 for the Ballee Black Ballers.

Fairhill Dreamers 3-3 Diamond Duffers

Kenny Allen put the Dreamers ahead when he beat Chris Nicholl in straight frames and Sean Brannigan doubled the score when he beat Darren McFetridge also in straight frames. The Duffers made a bit of a comeback when they won the next three games all in straight frames their winners being Matthew Peacock, Steven Douglas and Jason Ogilvy who all beat Guy Rodgers, Ricky Allen and Linzi McClelland respectively to make the match score 3-2 for the Diamond Duffers. In the final game Gareth Montgomery defeated Steven Anderson by a 2-1 score line to make the final score 3-3.

Coach Bar 2-4 Ballee Rollers

Dean Greer put the Rollers ahead when he beat David Gillespie by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. Paul Gray levelled the match at 1-1 when he had a win in straight frames over Stefan Armstrong. The Rollers restored the lead when Aaron Browne beat David Carlisle by a 2-1 score line. In game four Shane Hillis had a win in straight frames over Aaron Irwin to make the match score 3-1 for the Ballee. In game five Raymond Lynn pulled a game back for the Coach when he defeated David Calderwood by a 2-0 score line. In the final game K.D. Crabbe won the first frame against Frazer Young but back came Frazer who won the next two frames to win 2-1 and it made the final match score 4-2 for the Ballee Rollers.

Diamond Dazzlers 2-4 Fairhill Hustlers

George McCullough had a win in straight frames against Robert Artt to put the Fairhill Hustlers into the lead. In frame two Richard Campbell doubled the score for the. Fairhill when he had a win in straight frames against Malcolm Graffin. Justin Kilpatrick had a 2-0 win against Ian Boal to put the Fairhill Hustlers 3-0 ahead in the match. In frame four Brendan O'Mullan pulled a game back for the Dazzlers when he defeated Ritchie Irwin by a 2-1 score line. In the fifth game Paul Hayes had a 2-0 win over Chris Gordon and in the final game Adrian Rourke had a straight frame win for the Diamond against Robert Graham to make the final match score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Connolly's A 4-2 Ballee Rollers


Joey McNally had a winning start when he beat Stefan Armstrong in straight frames but back came Ballee through Dean Greer who defeated Sean Donnelly also in straight frames. Connolly's took the lead for a second time when Kevin Scullion defeated David Calderwood by a 2-0 score line. Ballee came back again to level the match scores for a second time when Aaron Browne defeated Kieran Butler in straight frames to make the match score 2-2. In game five the home team took the lead for the third time in the match when Johnny Walker beat Frazer Young in straight frames. In the last game Peter Kyle made the match score 4-2 for Connolly's A when he beat Josh McCrory by a 2-0 score line.

Diamond Duffers 2-4 Diamond Dazzlers

Jason Ogilvy got the Duffers off to a good start when he defeated Adrian Rourke by a 2-1 score line. This must have wakened up the dazzlers because they won the next four games, their first winner was Malcolm Graffin who beat Steven Douglas in straight frames. Next up was Chris Gordon who defeated Steven Anderson by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score 2-1 for the Dazzlers. Ian Boal had a win in straight frames against Matthew Peacock and in game five Brendan O'Mullan also had a win in straight frames against Chris Nichol to make the match score 4-1 for the Dazzlers. In the final game the Duffers pulled another game back as Darren McFetridge defeated Ruairi O'Connell by a 2-0 score line to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Coach Bar 6-0 Social Club

David Carlisle put the home team ahead when he beat Marc McMullan by a 2-1 score line after he had lost the first frame. The second game went the same way when Darren Gilmore lost the first frame but fought back to win the next two frames for a 2-1 win against John Fleck. In game three Paul Gray had a win in straight frames against Eddie Fleck and this was followed by David Gillespie who also had a win in straight frames against Ross Hill to make the match score 4-0 for the Coach. In game five Raymond Lynn had to come from behind to beat Albert McBride 2-1 and in the final game K.D.Crabbe defeated Brian Boyd by a 2-1 score line to make the final score 6-0 to the Coach Bar.

Fairhill Hustlers 4-2 Connolly's A

Pat McAnally (snr) got the away team of to a good start when he had a straight frames win over George McCullough. Robert Graham levelled the scores when he defeated Sean Donnelly also in straight frames. The away team once again took the lead when Johnny Walker beat Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score line. Justin Kilpatrick levelled again for the home team when he defeated Kevin Scullion by a 2-1 score line. In game five Paul Hayes put the Hustlers ahead when he defeated Joey McNally by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Ritchie Irwin had a walkover as Connolly's A only had five players to make the final match score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Michelin Masters 6-0 Ballee Black Ballers

Michelin raced away to a 4-0 lead without dropping a frame. In the first game David Armstrong had a win in straight frames against Allister Law. In game two the story was the same as Drew Sloan defeated Paul Smyth also in straight frames. The next two games went the same way as Alan Armstrong and Rick McMaster beat Jimmy Barr and Neil Weir both by 2-0 score lines. In game five Brian Hanna lost the first frame but won the next two against Jason Weir for a 2-1 victory and in the last game Alan Rainey also lost the first frame but won the next two against Dean Robinson for a 2-1 win to make the match score 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

Ballee Rollers 2-4 Michelin Inbetweeners

Dean Greer put the home team ahead when he beat Finton Long by a 2-1 score line. Philip Houston levelled the match at 1-1 when he defeated Aaron Browne also by a 2-1 score line. In game three the Inbetweeners took the lead when Gareth Rowe had to come from behind to overhaul Shane Hillis with a 2-1 win and in game four Ballee Rollers levelled the match at 2-2 when David Calderwood beat Ryan Logan in straight frames. In game five Lee Wright put the Inbetweeners ahead at 3-2 when he defeated Stefan Armstrong by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Chris Penney wrapped it up for the Inbetweeners when he beat Frazer Young by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Connolly's B 4-2 Fairhill Dreamers

Ryan Foster put Connolly's into the lead with a win in straight frames over Sean Brannigan. The Dreamers levelled the score at 1-1 when Glenn Mairs defeated Pat McAnally by a 2-1 score line. In game three Connolly's once again took the lead when Dee Erwin had a win over Ricky Allen by a 2-0 score. Back came the Dreamers for the second time to level at 2-2 through Guy Rodgers who defeated Alan Davidson 2-1 after losing the first frame. This was as good as it got for the Dreamers for in game five Marcus Westhall defeated Linzi McClelland in straight frames and in the final game Owen Butler won 2-0 with a walkover as the Dreamers only had five players to leave the match score of 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Results - Week 20 - Tuesday 25th March 2014

Fairhill Dreamers 2-4 Ballee Rollers
 
Ballee Rollers took the lead when Dean Greer defeated Linzi McClelland in straight frames and in game two Sean Brannigan levelled the scores when he beat Aaron Browne by a 2-1 score line. Ballee restored the lead when Shane Hillis beat Ricky Allen by a 2-0 score line and Stefan Armstrong increased the lead to 3-1 for the Rollers when he beat Guy Rodgers in straight frames. In game five Glenn Mairs pulled one back for the Dreamers when he defeated Josh McCrory also in straight frames and in the final game Frazer Young made the score 4-2 for Ballee Rollers when he defeated Gareth Montgomery by a 2-1 score line to make the final score 4-2 for the Rollers.

Michelin Inbetweeners 4-2 Coach Bar
 
The home team won the first game when Gary Ormandy defeated Darren Gilmore by a 2-1 score line. Ryan Logan doubled the score when he beat David Carlisle also by a 2-1 score line. The next two games also went the way of the Inbetweeners whose winners were Finton Long and Lee Wright who defeated David Gillespie and Raymond Lynn both by 2-0 score lines to make the match score 4-0 for Michelin. In game five K.D.Crabbe beat Phil Houston in straight frames and in the final game James Gillespie had to come from behind to beat Gareth Rowe by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

This was a bit of a runaway for the Masters when they won the first three games through Drew Sloan, David Armstrong and Alan Armstrong who defeated John Fleck, Eddie Fleck and Ross Hill all in straight frames for a match score of 3-0 for the Masters. In game four Rick McMaster defeated Albert McBride by a 2-1 score line. In game five Dennis Keenan won the first game for Social Club but Brian Hanna fought back to win the last two frames for a 2-1 win for Michelin. In the final game Alan Rainey defeated Brian Boyd in straight frames for a final score off 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

Pat McAnally (snr) put the home team ahead when he defeated Jason Olgilvy in straight frames. Steven Douglas levelled for the Diamond when he defeated Sean Donnelly also by a 2-0 score line. Connolly's regained the lead when Johnny Walker beat Darren McFetridge by a 2-1 score line. In game four Kevin Scullion had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Matthew Peacock to make the match score 3-1 for Connolly's A. In game five Joe McAnally had a 2-1 win over Steven Anderson and in the last game Paul Havelin defeated Christopher Nicholl in straight frames to make the final score 5-1 for Connolly's A.
