Results - Week 10 - Tuesday 17th December 2013

Fairhill Dreamers 0-6 Connollys B

Pat McAnally got Connollys off to a good start when he defeated Ricky Allen in straight frames. In game two Brett McLaughlin doubled the match score when he beat Sean Brannigan by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score of 2-0 for Connolly's B. In the last four games the Champions ran out the four matches without losing a frame. Their winners being Dee Erwin, Micky Rowan, Dean Dunlop and Alan Davidson who defeated Gary Rogers, Samantha Rae, Linzi McLelland and Gareth Montgomery respectively to leave the final match score of 6-0 for Connolly's B.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5-1 Ballee Rollers

The away team the Ballee Rollers got off to a great start when Dean Greer defeated Chris Penney in straight frames to lead 1-0 in the match. Match two went the way of the Inbetweeners when Gary Ormandy defeated Shane Hillis by a 2-1 score line and game three went the same way when Ryan Logan beat Colin McCaughern by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score of 2-1 for the Inbetweeners. The last three games were all won in straight frames by the Inbetweeners their winners being Phil Houston, Finton Long and Lee Wright who defeated Aaron Browne, Johnny Clarke and Josh Macrory respectively to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Ballee Black Ballers 1-5 Michelin Masters

The away team struck first and took the lead when Drew Sloan defeated Jason Weir in straight frames. In game two the home team levelled the match at 1-1 after Lewis Boyd beat Brian Hanna also in straight frames. After this Michelin upped their game and won the last four games without losing a frame their winners being Alan Armstrong, David Armstrong, Rick McMaster and Alan Rainey who defeated Allister Law, Neil Weir, Tyler Caulfield and Jimmy Barr respectively for a final match score of 5-1 to the Michelin Masters.

Connolly's A 0-6 Fairhill Hustlers

George McCullough got the Fairhill off to a winning start when he defeated Pat McAnally in straight frames. In game two Robert Graham increased the lead when he beat Sean Donnelly also in straight frames. In game three it was the same story with the Fairhill increasing the lead to 3-0 when Justin Kilpatrick defeated Kevin Scullion by a 2-0 score line. Game four didn't change that much for Connolly's and Ritchie Irwin defeated Joey McNally by a 2-0 score line. In game five Connolly's at last got a frame on the board but it was to no avail for Paul Hayes defeated Johnny Walker by a 2-1 score line and in the final game the Fairhill wrapped it all up when Richard Campbell beat Paul Havelin by a 2-0 score line for a final score of 6-0 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Social Club 2-4 Coach Bar

Dennis Keenan put the Social Club into the lead when he defeated Raymond Lynn in straight frames. In game two the Coach came back and levelled the match after K.D. Crabbe beat Eddie   Fleck 2-1. In game three the Coach took the lead in the match when David Carlisle defeated John Fleck in straight frames. Back came the Social Club to level once again through Ross Hill who defeated Darren Gilmore by a 2-1 score line. After this the Coach took control of the final two games which were both won in straight frames there winners being David Gillespie and Jimmy Gillespie who defeated Marc McMullan and Brian Boyd to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

Diamond Dazzlers 4-2 Diamond Duffers

Ruairi O'Connell put the home team into the lead when he beat Liam O'Kane in straight frames and in game two Malcolm Graffin doubled the lead to 2-0 when he defeated Jason Olgilvy also in straight frames. In game three Steven Anderson won the first frame against Chris Gordon but Chris fought back to win the next two games to win 2-1 and a 3-0 lead for the Dazzlers. In game four the Duffers pulled one back through Tom McMaster who beat Brendan O'Mullan by a 2-1 score line. In game five Adrian Rourke restored the three game lead for the Dazzlers when he beat Kylie Lennox by a 2-0 score line. In the final game Jarlath Downey pulled another game back for the Duffers when he beat Ian Boal 2-1 to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 9 - Tuesday 10th December 2013

Diamond Duffers 1-5 Connollys A

Connolly's A travelled to Portglenone to play the Diamond Duffers and got off to a flying start by winning the first three games all by 2-0 score lines, their winners being Joey McNally, Pat McAnally (sen) and Johnny Walker who defeated Christopher McGarry, Tam McMaster and Jarlath Downey respectively. In game four Diamonds won the first frame through Jason Olgilvy but Sean Donnelly fought back to win the next two frames for a 2-1 win for Connollys. In game five Diamonds did pull back a game when Liam O'Kane defeated Rory McCormick by a 2-1 score line to make the match score 4-1 for Connolly's A. In the final game Kevin Scullion restored the four game difference when he beat Kylie Lennox by a 2-1 score line to make the final match score 5-1 to Connolly's A.

Michelin Masters 6-0 Social Club

The Michelin Masters white washed the Social Club as they had a 6-0win all by 2-0 score lines. Their first winner was David Armstrong who defeated Marc McMullan to get the ball rolling. In game two Drew Sloan had a 2-0 win over Eddie Fleck with the help of an 8ball clearance. Michelin other winners were Rick McMaster, Brian Hanna, Jimmy Knowles and Alan Rainey who defeated John Fleck, Dennis Keenan, Ross Hill and Brian Boyd respectively to leave a final match score of 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

Fairhill Hustlers 5-1 Ballee Black Ballers

George McCullough got the home team away when he had to come from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Jimmy Barr. Ritchie Irwin made the score two when he beat Jason Weir by a 2-1 score line. In game three the Ballee pulled a game back when Lewis Boyd defeated Robert Graham 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game four Justin Kilpatrick restored the two game lead after he beat Paul Smyth 2-1 and he also lost the first frame. In game five Robert Hargan defeated Neil Weir by a 2-1 score line to make the match score 4-1 to the Fairhill. Richard Campbell made the final score 5-1 to the Fairhill Hustlers when he defeated Dean Robinson in straight frames.

Ballee Rollers 2-4 Fairhill Dreamers

Aaron Browne got the Rollers off to a good start when he beat Ricky Allen in straight frames. In game two Sean Brannigan levelled the scores when he beat Dean Greer by a 2-1 score line. In game three Gary Rodgers defeated Stefan Armstrong also by a 2-1 score line to put the Dreamers ahead. Glenn Mairs increased the lead to 3-1 for the Dreamers when he beat Shane Hillis by a 2-0 score. Gareth Montgomery made it 4-1 when he defeated Josh Macrory in straight frames. In the final game the Rollers pulled one back when Fraser Young defeated Linzi McClelland 2-1 after losing the first frame to make the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Dreamers.

The champions raced into a 3-0 lead by winning the first three games without dropping a frame their winners being Pat McAnally, Brett McLaughlin and Barry McLarnon who beat Robert Artt, Chris Gordon and Brendan O'Mullan respectively. In game four the Dazzlers pulled back a game when Malcolm Graffin defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames to make the score 3-1 for Connolly's B. In game five Ryan Foster restored the three game lead when he defeated Adrian Rourke also in straight frames. In the final game Ian Boal pulled another one back for the Dazzlers when he defeated Dean Dunlop by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 4-2 for Connolly's B.

Results - Week 8 - Tuesday 3rd December 2013

Fairhill Dreamers 2-4 Coach Bar

The Fairhill took the lead when they won the first game through Sean Brannigan who defeated Davy Carlisle in straight frames. Back came the Coach by winning the next two games through Derek Steele and K.D. Crabbe who beat Ricky Allen and Guy Rogers both by 2-0 score lines. In game four David Gillespie had to come from being one frame down to win 2-1 over Samantha Rae and in game five Raymond Lynn had a 2-0 win over Linzi McClelland to make the match score 4-1 to the Coach. In the final game of the match Gareth Montgomery defeated Jimmy Gillespie by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame for a final match score of 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

Michelin Masters 4-2 Fairhill Hustlers

The Fairhill made a surprising start by taking the first two games of the match against Michelin with their winners being George McCullough and Robert Graham who beat Jimmy Knowles and Brian Hanna both by 2-0 score lines. Michelin turned the tables and won the next two games through David Armstrong and Alan Armstrong who beat Richard Campbell and Justin Kilpatrick also by 2-0 score lines with David having an 8ball clearance in the second frame. In game five Drew Sloan had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Ritchie Irwin and in the final game Alan Rainey had a win in straight frames over Paul Hayes for a final score of 4-2 for Michelin Masters.

Ballee Black Ballers 4-2 Diamond Duffers

The home team took the lead through Jimmy Barr when he defeated Tam McMaster by a 2-0 score line. In game two Jarlath Downey levelled the scores when he beat Craig Young by a 2-1 score line, but back came the Ballee when Dean Robinson had a win in straight frames over Liam O'Kane to make the match score 2-1 for the Ballee. The Duffers were not to be out done and they levelled the match when Jason Olgilvy defeated Allister Law by a 2-1 score line after being one frame down. In game five Neil Weir beat Steven Anderson in straight frames and in the final game Tyler Caulfield defeated Kylie Lennox by a 2-0 score to leave the final score 4-2 for the Ballee Black Ballers.

The Diamond took the first two games both by 2-0 wins with their winners being Ian Boal and Ruairi O'Connell who defeated Aaron Browne and Josh Macrory for a 2-0 match score. In game three Dean Greer pulled one back for the Ballee when he defeated Brendan O'Mullan in straight frames. In game four Malcolm Graffin lost the first frame to Stefan Armstrong but fought back to win the game 2-1. In game five Adrian Rourke had a win in straight frames against Shane Hillis to make the match score 4-1 for the Diamond Dazzlers. In the final game Chris Gordon had a walk over win as the Ballee Rollers could only field five players to make the final match score of 5-1 to Diamond Dazzlers.

The B team took the first two games both by 2-0 score lines, with their winners being Brett McLaughlin and Pat McAnally (jnr) who defeated Pat McAnally (snr) and Rory McCormick. In game three Sean Donnelly pulled one back for the A team when he defeated Alan Davidson in straight frames. The B team restored there two game lead when Owen Butler defeated Kevin Scullion by a 2-0 score line for a match score of 3-1 for the B team. In game five the A team won another game with Joey McNally beating Connor Connolly in straight frames for a 3-2 match score. In the final game Dean Dunlop finished of the match with a 2-0 win over Johnny Walker to make the final match score of 4-2 to Connolly's B.

Results - Week 7 - Tuesday 26th November 2013

Coach Bar 3-3 Diamond Dazzlers

David Carlisle got the Coach off to a flyer when he defeated Robert Artt in straight frames. This was followed by another win in straight frames for David Gillespie who beat Ruairi O'Connell with the help of an 8ball clearance in the first frame to give the Coach a 2-0 lead in the match. In game three Raymond Lynn won the first frame against Brendan O'Mullan but he lost out in the next two frames to Brendan who won the game 2-1 to leave the match score at 2-1 in favour of the Coach. The Coach increased their lead when Aaron Erwin had a 2-0 win over Malcolm Graffin. The Diamond pulled another game back through Adrian Rourke who beat Darren Gilmore by a 2-1 score line for a match score of 3-2 for the Coach. In the last game Ian Boal levelled the scores when he beat K.D. Crabbe by a 2-0 score line to leave a final score of 3-3.

The first two games went the way of the Masters when Jimmy Knowles and Drew Sloan both had 2-0 wins over Liam O'Kane and David O'Neill. In game three Jarlath Downey won the first frame against Brian Hanna but Brian won the next two for a 2-1 win and a match score of 3-0 for the Masters. In game four Rick McMaster made it 4-0 when he defeated Jason Olgilvy by a 2-0 score line. In game five Alan Armstrong won the first frame through an 8ball clearance but Steven Anderson levelled when he won frame two only for Alan to win the decider and a 2-1 score line. In the final game David Armstrong beat Tam McMaster in straight frames for a 2-0 win and a final match score of 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

This was a very one sided match with the Social Club winning just two frames in the entire match. In game one George McCullough had a win in straight frames over Albert McBride, and in game two Robert Graham defeated Marc McMullan but this time Marc won the second frame to level the game only for Robert to win the last game for a 2-1 win. In game three Robert Hargan defeated Eddie Fleck by a 2-0 score line with Robert getting an 8ball clearance in the second frame. Games four and five were both the same with Fairhill winning both by 2-0 score lines, in game four Ritchie Irwin defeated John Fleck and in game five Justin Kilpatrick beat Ross Hill. In the final game Richard Campbell defeated Brian Boyd by a 2-1 score line for a final score of 6-0 to the Fairhill Hustlers.

In game five Johnny Walker regained the lead for Connolly's for the third time when he defeated Josh McCrory by a 2-1 score after he had lost the first frame. In the final game Fraser Young levelled the match when he beat William Mitchell in straight frames.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5-1 Fairhill Dreamers

The away team got off to a good start when Sean Brannigan came from one down to beat Gary Ormandy by a 2-1 score line. This was as good as it got for the Dreamers as Michelin reeled off the remaining five games without losing a frame there first two winners were Gareth Rowe and Finton Long who defeated Ricky Allen and Guy Rogers both in straight frames. The last three games Michelin winners were Ryan Logan, Lee Wright and Phil Houston who defeated Stephen French, Linzi McClelland and Patrick Gaher also all in straight frames to leave a final match score of 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Results - Week 6 - Tuesday 19th November 2013

Ballee Black Ballers 3-3 Ballee Rollers

The Rollers raced into a 3-0 lead. Their first winner was Colin McCaughern who had a 2-0 win over Dean Robinson, and in game two Dean Greer had to come from one down to defeat Craig Young by a 2-1 score line. In game three Shane Hillis defeated Lewis Boyd by a 2-1 score line to leave the match score of 3-0 for the Rollers. In game four Neil Weir got the Black Ballers going when he beat Stefan Armstrong by a 2-1 score line. In the next game Jimmy Barr made it 3-2 when he defeated Aaron Browne in straight frames and in the final game Paul Smyth beat Frazer Young also in straight frames to leave a final match score of 3-3.

The home team won the first match through Marc McMullan who defeated Guy Rodgers by a 2-0 score line. Back came the Dreamers through Sean Brannigan who beat John Fleck in straight frames. This was followed by Glenn Mairs who also had a win in straight frames over Ross Hill to make the match score of 2-1 for the Dreamers. In game four the Social Club levelled the match when Albert McBride had a win in straight frames over Ricky Allen. In game five the lead went back to the Dreamers when Steven French beat Dennis Keenan by a 2-0 score. In the final game the Dependable Brian Boyd sealed the draw when he defeated Patrick Gaher in straight frames to leave the match score at 3-3.

Connolly's raced into a 3-0 lead. Their first winner being Alan Davidson who was one frame down against Drew Sloan but fought back to win 2-1. In game two Brett McLaughlin was also one down against Jimmy Knowles and he also fought back to win 2-1 and when Pat McAnally made it 3-0 to Connolly's with a win in straight frames over David Armstrong it looked like a heavy defeat was on the cards for Michelin. The second half of the match turned in favour of Michelin however, when Rick McMaster defeated Owen Butler by a 2-1 score line and then Alan Armstrong defeated Ryan Foster in straight frames to leave the match score 3-2 for Connolly's. In the final game Alan Rainey lost out in the first frame to Dean Dunlop but he came back to win 2-1 and salvage the draw for Michelin for a final score of 3-3.

The away team took the lead through Liam O'Kane when he had a 2-0 win over Adam Gordon. I'm afraid this was as good as it got for the Diamond. In game two Ritchie Irwin had a win in straight frames over Kylie Lennox and in game three Robert Graham defeated Ian McMaster by a 2-1 score line after he had lost the first frame. Richard Campbell also lost the first frame against Steven Anderson but fought back it win the next two frames for a 2-1 win to leave the match score of 3-1 for the Fairhill. In game five Paul Hayes defeated Jarlath Downey in straight frames and in the final game Robert Hargan defeated Jason Olgivy 2-1 to leave a final match score of 5-1 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Robert Artt got the home team running when he beat Gary Ormandy in straight frames. In game two Brendan O'Mullan had to come from one frame down to win 2-1 against Finton Long to leave the match score of 2-0 for the Dazzlers. Chris Gordon made it 3-0 when he beat Gareth Rowe by a 2-1 score line. In the next two games the Diamond made the match score 5-0 with Ian Boal and Adrian Rourke having 2-1 wins over Chris Penny and Lee Wright both Diamond players had lost the first frame in the two games. In the last game Phil Houston saved the white wash when he defeated Malcolm Graffin in straight frames to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Diamond Dazzlers and this win puts them top of the league.

Jarlath Downey had to come back from one down to win 2-1 over Eddie Fleck. John Fleck levelled the match when he beat Kylie Lennox by a 2-1 score line. The Duffers hit straight back Ian McMaster who won in straight frames over Brian Boyd. In game four Jason Olgilvy increased the lead to 3-1 in the match for the Duffers when he beat Dennis Keenan by a 2-1 score line. Back came the Social Club and they won the last two games to get a draw their first winner was Albert McBride who beat Steven Anderson by a 2-1 score line after being one down and in the final game Ross Hill had a win in straight frames over Liam O'Kane to make the final match score of 3-3.

Connolly's B 5-1 Fairhill Hustlers

The champions won the first game through Pat McAnally who defeated George McCullough in straight frames. Ryan Foster made it 2-0 for Connolly's when he beat Paul Hayes also in straight frames. In game three Brett McLaughlin increased the match score to 3-0 when he defeated Justin Kilpatrick by a 2-1 score line. Connolly's made it four when Alan Davidson had a 2-0 win with the help of an 8-ball clearance in frame one over Robert Graham. In game five the Fairhill pulled a game back when Ritchie Irwin defeated Connor Connolly in straight frames. In the final game Dean Dunlop wrapped it all up with a 2-0 win against Richard Campbell to leave the final match score of 5-1 to Connolly's B.

In game three Connolly's took the lead when Joey McNally defeated Finton Long by a 2-0 score line. Phil Houston levelled the match at 2-2 when he defeated Rory McCormack also by a 2-0 score line. In game five Michelin restored the lead when Lee Wright came from one down to win 2-1 against  William Mitchell and in the final game Stewart Frew beat Paul Havelin by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

In game four the Black Ballers levelled the match when Neil Weir beat Paul Gray by a 2-1 score line. In game five David Gillespie gave the Coach the lead again when he defeated Dean Robinson by a 2-1 score line and in the final game K.D. Crabbe defeated Tyler Caulfield in straight frames to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

The Diamond Dazzlers had a great result away to the Dreamers. Ian Boal got them started with a 2-1 win over Linzi McClelland this continued with Ruairi O'Connell who also had a 2-1 win against Glen Mairs to give the Diamond a 2-0 lead in the match. In game three Brendan O'Mullan increased the lead to three when he defeated Ricky Allen in straight frames. The last three game all went to the Diamond there winners being Chris Gordon, Adrian Rourke and Malcolm Graffin who were the victors over Guy Rogers, Patrick Gaher and Steven French all by 2-0 score lines to leave the final match score of 6-0 to the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 4 - Tuesday 5th November 2013


Connolly's A 4-2 Fairhill Dreamers

Glenn Mairs got the away team off to a good start when he beat Peter Kyle by a 2-0 score line. Pat McAnally levelled the score when he defeated Ricky Allen by the same score of 2-0, and Johnny Walker put Connolly's into the lead when he beat Guy Rodgers also by a 2-0 score. In game four Gareth Montgomery levelled the match at 2-2 with a 2-0 win over Joe McNally. In game five Connolly's took the lead again when Kevin Scullion beat Lyndsay McClelland 2-1 and in the final game Paul Havelin defeated Samantha Rea in straight frames for a 4-2 win for Connolly's A in the match.

Fairhill Hustlers 3-3 Ballee Rollers

The first game went to the home team when Ritchie Irwin had a 2-0 win by defeating Aaron Browne. In game two Shane Hillis levelled the score at 1-1 when he came from behind to beat Justin Kilpatrick by a 2-1 score line. In game three the away team took the lead when Dean Greer  defeated Paul Hayes in straight frames, back came the Hustlers through Robert Graham who had a 2-0 win over Stefan Armstrong to level the match once again at 2-2. In game five Richard Campbell put the Hustlers ahead again with a 2-0 win over Colin McCaughern. In the last game Frazer Young had an excellent victory when he beat George McCullough by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score at 3-3.

Michelin Masters 5-1 Coach Bar

The Coach got off to a flyer when David Carlisle defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-1 score after losing the first frame. After this I'm afraid the Masters took control and only dropped one frame in the remaining five games. The next four games all went the way of Michelin Masters whose winners were Jimmy Knowles, David Armstrong, Rick McMaster and Drew Sloan who defeated Raymond Lynn , David Gillespie, Derek Steele and Darren Gilmore all by 2-0 score lines. In the final game Alan Rainey made the final score 5-1 for Michelin Masters when he came from one down to defeat K.D. Crabbe by a 2-1 score line.

Ballee Black Ballers 2-4 Michelin Inbetweeners

Gary Ormandy got the away team off to a winning start when he beat Craig Young in straight frames. Jimmy Barr levelled the match at 1-1 when he beat Lee Wright also in straight frames. In game three Dessie Cooper restored the lead for the Inbetweeners when he beat Dean Robinson by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. In game four Finton Long also came from behind to beat Lewis Boyd by a 2-1 score line. In game five Phil Houston also had to come from behind to beat Allister Law by a 2-1 score line, and in the final game Paul Smyth pulled a game back for the Black Ballers when he defeated Gareth Rowe by a 2-1 score line for a final result of 4-2 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Diamond Duffers 1-5 Connolly's B

The champions raced into a 4-0 lead when they had four 2-0 wins in a row with their winners being Pat McAnally, Brett McLaughlin , Marcus Westhall and Alan Davidson who all beat Jarlath Downey, Tam McMaster, Liam O'Kane and Kylie Lennox. In game five Connor Connolly made the score 5-0 for Connolly's B when he came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Jason Olgilvy. In the final match Steven Anderson saved the whitewash with a win in straight frames against Dee Erwin to make the final match score of 5-1 for Connolly's B.

Social Club 1-5 Diamond Dazzlers

The Dazzlers got away to a good start by winning the first three games the first winner being Ian Boal who had a 2-1 win over Marc McMullan. In game two Ruairi O'Connell defeated Eddie Fleck in straight frames and in the third game Brendan O'Mullan also had a win in straight frames over Johnny Fleck. In game four Ross Hill pulled one back when he came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Chris Gordon to make the match score 3-1 for the Diamond Dazzlers. In game five Adrian Rourke had a 2-0 win over Dennis Keenan and in the final game Malcolm Graffin defeated Brian Boyd also by a 2-0 score line for a final match score of 5-1 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Results - Week 3 - Tuesday 29th October 2013

Coach Bar 1-5 Fairhill Hustlers

The Hustlers took the lead through George McCullough who defeated K.D. Crabbe by a 2-1 score line and the next four matches were all won by the Hustlers to make the match score 5-0 for the Ahoghill team. Their winners being Ritchie Irwin, Richard Campbell, Paul Hayes and Robert Graham who all had 2-0 wins against David Carlisle, Derek Steele, Darren Gilmore and Denise Mitchell respectively. In the final game the Coach Bar pulled one back and saved the whitewash when David Gillespie defeated Justin Kilpatrick in straight frames to make the final score 5-1 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Michelin Inbetweeners 2-4 Michelin Masters

The Masters took the first game through Drew Sloan who defeated Gary Ormandy in straight frames. In game two Rick McMaster doubled the score when he beat Des Cooper also in straight frames. The third game went to the Inbetweeners when Lee Wright defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-0 score line. David Armstrong restored the two game lead for the Masters when he beat Gareth Rowe by a 2-0 score line for a match score of 3-1 for the Masters. The Inbetweeners pulled another one back when Chris Penney had a 2-0 win over Alan Armstrong, and in the final game Philip Houston won the first frame against Alan Rainey but then Alan won the next two frames for a 2-1 victory to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

Lewis Boyd got the away team off to a good start when he beat Linzi McClelland in straight frames. Dean Robinson also had a 2-0 win over Gary Rogers to double the score. In games three and four Ballee increased their lead when Craig Young and Allister Law had wins in straight frames over Ricky Allen and Glenn Mairs to make the match score 4-0 for the Black Ballers. In game five Fairhill pulled one back through Steven French who defeated Tyler Caulfield by a 2-1 score line. In the final game Neil Weir had a 2-1 win for Ballee to make the final match score 5-1 for the Ballee Black Ballers.

David Calderwood won the first game for Ballee when he beat Tam McMaster in straight frames and this was followed by Dean Greer who beat Jason Olgilvy also in straight frames. Shane Hillis made it 3-0 for the Ballee when he beat Kylie Lennox by a 2-1 score line. In game four Aaron Browne had a win in straight frames over Steven Anderson. In game five Liam O'Kane defeated Josh Macrory by a 2-1 score line to make the match score 4-1 for the Ballee. In the last game Frazer Young won the first frame against Jarlath Downey, but Jarlath levelled the frame score when he won the second frame but Frazer won the final frame to leave the final match score of 5-1 for the Ballee Rollers.

Diamond Dazzlers 4-2 Connolly's A

Ruairi O'Connell got the home team off to a good start when he beat Rory McCormick by a 2-0 score line. Malcolm Graffin made it two when he defeated Peter Kyle by a 2-1 score line. In game three Connolly's pulled one back through Joey McNally who came from one down to win 2-1 against Brendan O'Mullan. In game four Chris Gordon restored the two game lead when he defeated Kevin Scullion in straight frames to make the match score 3-1 for the Diamond. Adrian Rourke  made it 4-1 for the Diamond when he came from a frame down to win 2-1 against Johnny Walker and in the final game Paul Havelin defeated Ian Boal by a 2-1 score line to leave the final match score of 4-2 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Connolly's B 5-1 Social Club

The first two games went to Connolly's both by 2-0 score lines there winners being Pat McAnally and Brett McLaughlin who beat Mark McMullan and Johnny Fleck. In game three Social Club pulled one back through Eddie Fleck who defeated Sean Pedlow 2-1 to make the match score 2-1 for Connolly's B. The last three games were all won in straight frames by Connolly's there winners being Alan Davidson, Owen Butler and Dean Dunlop who defeated Ross Hill, Dennis Keenan and Brian Boyd to leave the final match score 5-1 for Connolly's B.

Results - Week 2 - Tuesday 22nd October 2013

Ballee Black Ballers 0-6 Diamond Dazzlers

Robert Artt got the away team off to a good start when he had a 2-0 win over Lewis Boyd. In game two Brendan O'Mullan lost out in the first frame to Allister Law but won the next two frames for a 2-1 win to put the Diamond 2-0 up. In game three Malcolm Graffin made it 3-0 with a 2-1 win over Craig Young. In game four Jimmy Barr won the first frame for Ballee against Chris Gordon but Chris won the next two to make it 4-0 for the Diamond. In game five Adrian Rourke had a win in straight frames over Neil Weir and in the last game Ian Boal had a 2-1 win over Tyler Caulfield to make the final score 6-0 for the Diamond Dazzlers.

Pat McAnally got the home team off to a good start when he defeated Dean Greer in straight frames. In game three the first frame went to Alan Davidson but the next two were won by Aaron Browne for a 2-1 win for Ballee. In game four Ballee levelled the match score with a win from Colin McCaughern in straight frames over Dee Erwin. Back came Connolly's with two wins in the last two matches with their winners being Ryan Foster and Barry McLarnon who defeated Josh Macrory and Shane Hillis both by 2-0 score lines to make the final match score 4-2 for Connolly's B.

This was a great result for the Coach who went to Portglenone and defeated the Duffers by a 6-0 score line. In game one Davy Carlisle had a 2-0 win over Jason Olgilby. Darren Gilmore made it 2-0 when he beat Jarlath Downey by a 2-1 score line. Denise Mitchell also had a 2-1 win against Steven Anderson. In game four Derek Steele defeated Liam O'Kane in straight frames to make the match score 4-0 for the Coach. In game five Tam McMaster won the first frame against Davy Gillespie but Davy fought back to win the next two frames for a 2-1 win and in the last game K.D. Crabbe had a 2-0 win over Kylie Lennox to leave the final score of 6-0 for the Coach Bar.

Michelin got off to a good start when they won the first two games both by 2-0 score lines, their winners being Gary Ormandy and Des Cooper who defeated George McCullough and Richard Campbell. In game three Fairhill pulled one back through Paul Hayes who defeated Finton Long also in straight frames to leave the match score of 2-1 for Michelin. Phil Houston restored the two game lead with a 2-0 win over Justin Kilpatrick. In game five Gareth Rowe also had a win in straight frames over Robert Graham and in the final game Lee Wright also had a win in straight frames when he beat Ritchie Irwin to make the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Michelin had a fairly easy win over Fairhill Dreamers and they only dropped one frame in the entire match. David Armstrong had a win in straight frames over Steven French. This was followed by a 2-0 win for Jimmy Knowles who beat Ricky Allen. Game three went the same way when Alan Armstrong defeated Glenn Mairs. Drew Sloan made it 4-0 for Michelin with a 2-0 win over Gary Rogers. In game five Rick McMaster won the first frame but Linzi McClelland levelled by winning the second frame. Unfortunately for Linzi the third frame was won by Rick. In the final game Alan Rainey defeated Gareth Montgomery in straight frames for a final score of 6-0 for the Michelin Masters.

Pat McAnally set Connolly's on the way by winning the first game when he defeated Eddie Fleck by a 2-0 score line. Ross Hill levelled the score when he defeated Sean Donnelly 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game three John Fleck put the Social Club into the lead when he beat Johnnie Walker in straight frames. In game four Connolly's levelled the match score when Joey McNally beat Dennis Keenan by a 2-0 score line. Richard Turtle gave Social club the match lead again when he defeated Peter Kyle 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the final game Brian Boyd won in straight frames over Rory McCormick for a final match score of 4-2 for Social Club.

Results - Week 1 - Tuesday 15th October 2013

Coach Bar 1-5 Connolly's B

The champions carried on where they left off last year when they raced into a 2-0 lead with two 2-0 wins. In game one Pat McAnally defeated David Carlisle and in game two Brett McLaughlin defeated Derek Steele. In game three Paul Gray won the first frame for the home team but lost out in the next two frames to Dee Erwin for a 2-1 win for Connolly's. In game four Marcus Westhall defeated David Gillespie in straight frames and in game five Alan Davidson also had a win in straight frames over Darren Gilmore for a 5-0 lead for Connolly's B. In the final game K.D. Crabbe saved a whitewash when he defeated Connor Connolly by a 2-0 score line to leave the match score of 5-1 for Connolly's B.

Diamond Dazzlers 2-4 Michelin Masters

Michelin Masters showed they intended to be in the running for league honours this year. In game one Rick McMaster had a 2-1 win over Robert Artt to set the Masters on their way. The next game was a 2-0 win for Drew Sloan who also had an 8ball clearance in frame two over Ruairi O'Connell. The next two games went the same way for the Masters when Jimmy Knowles and Alan Armstrong both had wins in straight frames with their opponents being Brendan O'Mullan and Chris Gordon to make the score 4-0 for the Michelin Masters. In game five Adrian Rourke had a win in straight frames over Brian Hanna, and Adrian had an 8ball clearance in frame two. In the final game Ian Boal came from one down to win 2-1 against Alan Rainey to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Michelin Masters.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5-1 Diamond Duffers

Michelin Inbetweeners are determined to make a serious assault on the league this season and they will be one of the teams there at the end. The Inbetweeners raced into a 4-0 lead without dropping a frame there winners being Gary Ormandy, Chris Penney, Lee Wright and Finton Long who defeated Liam Oligene, Jason Olgilby, Steven Anderson and Tam McMaster. Jarlath Downey pulled one back for the Diamond when he defeated Phil Houston in straight frames to make the score 4-1 for the Inbetweeners . In the last game Gareth Rowe also had a win in straight frames when he defeated Kayile Linox to leave the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Ballee Rollers 3-3 Social Club

This was the first match in the new pool room at the Ballee Arms and Dennis Keenan got the Social Club off to a good start when he beat Aaron Browne in straight frames. Ross Hill made it two when he came from behind to beat Shane Hillis 2-1. Ballee not to be undone won the next two games to level the match score at 2-2. Ballee winners were Dean Greer and Colin McCaughern who beat Eddie Fleck and Johnny Fleck. The Social Club regained the lead when Brian Boyd defeated Stefan Armstrong by a 2-1 score line after losing the first frame. In the last game Fraser Young beat May Barr by a 2-0 score line to leave the match score at 3-3.

Fairhill Dreamers 3-3 Fairhill Hustlers

The season started with the Fairhill derby and maybe it's a good thing it finished all square. In the first game Linzi McClelland got the Dreamers off to a good start when she beat George McCullough in straight frames. The Dreamers doubled their score when Glenn Mairs also had a 2-0 win over Justin Kilpatrick. In game three the Hustlers pulled one back with a 2-0 win for Richard Campbell who beat Mark McClelland. The Hustlers won the next two games to take a 3-2 lead in the match with wins from Ritchie Irwin and Robert Graham who had 2-0 wins over Ricky Allen and Gary Rodgers. In the last game Steven French had a win over Paul Hayes to leave the final match score of 3-3.

The match between Connolly's A and Ballee Black Ballers was a 4-2 win for Connolly's A but no score card was returned to the League Secretary's house.

The annual AGM will take place at Michelin Athletic Club on Tuesday 10th September 2013 at 8pm sharp. This will give everyone a chance to voice their opinions on how the league should operate to its maximum potential. All new teams are more than welcome, and all existing teams should be represented at the meeting.

Dessie Moore Snr Memorial Pool Tournament

This Sunday 28th April will be the Dessie Moore Snr Memorial Pool Tournament held in the Coach Bar in Ballymena. Registration is at 1:30pm for a 2pm start. Entry for the Tournament is only £5 with prizes up for grabs! See you all there!

Result's - Week 16 - Tuesday 19th March 2013


Fairhill Hustlers 4-2 Spotty Dogs 

Paul Hayes got the home team off to a good start when he beat Ian Boal in straight frames. Back came the Spotty Dogs through Robert Artt who leveled the scores when he beat George McCullough by a 2-1 scoreline. The next two games went to the Fairhill with two 2-0 wins  for a 3-1 lead. Their winners being Robert Graham and Derek Dunlop who defeated Damian White and Brendan O'Mullan. In game five the Spotty Dogs got another win when Malcolm Graffin beat Justin Kilpatrick by a 2-0 scoreline. Going into the last game the score was 3-2 for the Fairhill but the Fairhill captain Ritchie Irwin pulled out a 2-0 win over Chris Gordon to leave the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Social Sports 0-6 Michelin Inbetweeners 

In game one Gary Ormandy defeated Eddie Fleck in straight frames. Lee Wright doubled the score when he beat Ross Hill also in straight frames. In game three Dennis Keenan won the first frame for the Social Sports but in frame two his opponent Gareth Rowe did an 8-ball clearance and went on to win the third frame for a 2-1 scoreline. In game four Finton Long increased the lead to 4-0 for Michelin when he defeated Richard Campbell by a 2-0 scoreline. The last two games went to Michelin with 2-0 wins there winners being Phil Houston and Ryan Logan who defeated Joni Millar and Brian Boyd to leave the final match score of 6-0 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Barry McLarnon gave the away team the lead when he beat Darren Gilmore in straight frames and this was followed by Alan Davidson who also beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames for a 2-0 lead for Connolly's B. In game three David Carlisle pulled a game back for the Coach by beating Dee Erwin by a 2-0 scoreline for a match score of 2-1 for the away team. In game four K.D. Crabbe won the first frame against Connor Connolly but Connor fought back to win 2-1. The last two games were 2-0 wins for Connolly's B there winners being Marcus Westhall and Brett McLoughlin who beat David Gillespie and Aaron Erwin for a final match score of 5-1 for Connolly's B.

Joey McNally got the home team off to a good start when he beat Laura Handley by a 2-0 score. In game two Eddie Maxwell won the first frame but lost out to Rory McCormick who won the last two frames for a 2-1 win. Kevin Scullion made the score 3-0 for the A team when he had a 2-1 win over Francine Warwick. In game four Raymond Campbell won the first frame but lost out to Sean Donnelly who won the next two to make the match score 4-0 for Connolly's. Martin O'Loughlin had a 2-0 win over Henry Butler. In the last game Norman Clarke saved the whitewash when he beat William Mitchell in straight frames to leave the match score 5-1 for Connolly's A.

Connolly's B 6-0 Horse & Jockey

This match was a bit one sided with the Horse & Jockey winning one frame in the whole game. The first two winners were Mark Campbell and Brett McLaughlin who had wins in straight frames over Martin McLintock and Danielle Handley. In games three and four Barry McLarnon and Alan Davidson marked up two more wins in straight frames against Raymond Campbell and Eddie Maxwell for a 4-0 lead for the home team. In game five Connor Connolly defeated Henry Butler by a 2-1 scoreline and in the final game Ryan Foster defeated Norman Clarke in straight frames to leave the final score 6-0 for Connolly's B.

Nine players entered the Seniors and they played two groups in a round robin format. The participants were Stewart Frew, Joni Millar, Harry Eagleson, Henry Butler, Sean Donnelly, Kevin Scullion, Pat McAnally and Richard Turtle. The players who qualified for the semi's were as follows:
