Results - Week 17 - Tuesday 20th March 2012

Connollys B 5 - 1 Horse & Jockey

Johnny Laing got the away team off to a good start when he beat Dean Dunlop in straight frames. This was as good as it got for the Horse & Jockey as Connollys won the remaining five games. The next three games were all won by 2-0 score lines with the winners being Connor Connolly, Brett McLaughlin and Pat McAnally who beat Mark Davidson, Sam McCalmont and Dean Hill respectively. In game five Eddie Maxwell won the first frame against Barry McLarnon but Barry went onto to win the final two games for a 4-1 score line. In the final game Ryan Foster defeated Gary Hillis by a 2-0 score line to leave the final score 5-1 for Connollys B.

Moat Aces 2 - 4 Connollys A

K.D.Crabbe won the first game for the Aces when he came from one down to win 2-1 against Niall McElroy. In game two David Carlisle beat Peter Kyle by a 2-1 score line for a 2-0 match lead for the Aces. In game three Kevin Scullion had a win in straight frames over Louise Gratten and in game four Connollys levelled the match when Sean Donnelly beat George Crothers in straight frames to make the match score 2-2. In the last two games Connollys A had walkovers as the Moat only had four players to leave the match score 4-2 for Connollys A.

The Coach Bar 0 - 6 Michelin Inbetweeners

The first two games were both won in straight frames the winners being Lee Wright and Phil Houston who defeated Billy Andrews and Paul Shaw. In game three Paul Gray won the first frame against Finton Long but Finton came back to win the last two games for a 2-1 win. Games four and five were both won in straight frames by Michelin to leave the score 5-0. Their winners being Dessie Cooper and Gary Ormandy who defeated Darren O'Neill and Philip McAllister. In the final game Gareth Rowe wrapped it up for Michelin when he beat James Miller by a 2-1 score line to leave the final score 6-0 for Michelin Inbetweeners.

Michelin Masters 2 - 4 Fairhill Hustlers

George McCullough put the Fairhill ahead when he beat Harry Eagleson in straight frames. Rick McMaster levelled the match when he defeated Justin Kilpatrick also in straight frames. Derek Dunlop restored the lead for Fairhill when he beat Alan Armstrong by a 2-0 score line also. The next two games were won by Fairhill both by 2-1 score lines. Their winners being Robert Graham and Ritchie Irwin who defeated Brian Hanna and David Armstrong. In the final game Donald Alexander pulled one back for the Masters when he defeated Paul Hayes by a 2-1 score line to leave the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Re-Arranged Matches

Diamond Bar 3 - 3 Social Sports

The first three games were all won by Social Sports the first two games were both won in straight frames the winners being Adam Gordon and Richard Turtle who defeated Declan Heggarty and Damian White.. In game three Richard Campbell defeated Adrian Mann by a 2-1 score line for a 3-0 lead for the Social Sports after that the game completely turned and Diamond won the last three games for a draw. The three games were all won by 2-0 score lines. Their winners being Ian Boal, Chris Gordon and Brendan O'Mullan who defeated Rosie Turtle, Brian Boyd and May Barr respectively to leave the final score 3-3.

Diamond Bar 2 - 4 Connollys B

The first game was won in straight frames by Pat McAnally who had an 8ball clearance in the first. The next two games were both won in straight frames by Connollys with their winners being Dean Dunlop and Barry McLarnon who beat Damian White and Adrian Mann to make the score 3-0 for Connollys B. Game four was won by Brendan O'Mullan for the Diamond who beat Ryan Foster in straight frames. In game five, Connollys B restored the three game lead when Connor Connolly beat Chris Gordon 2-1. In the final game Ian Boal pulled another one back for the Diamond when he beat Alan Davidson by a 2-1 scoreline.

Results - Week 16 - Tuesday 13th March 2012

Horse & Jockey 2 - 4 Coach Bar 

Billy Andrews got the away team off to a good start when he beat Mark Davidson in straight frames. Paul Shaw made it two nil when he came from behind to beat Dean Hill then Aaron Erwin made it three with a 2-0 win over Johnny Laing. Horse & Jockey pulled one back through Eddie Maxwell who had a win in straight frames over Rodney Shirley. In game five Philip McAllister restored the three game lead when he defeated Gary Hillis by a 2-0 score line. In the final game Sam McCalmont beat Paul Gray also by a 2-0 score line to leave the final match score 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

Connollys A 2 - 4 Slemish Hotshots

Niall McElroy got the home team off to a good start when he beat Connor Graham 2-1 after losing the first frame. Peter Kyle made it two when he beat Gary Rodgers in straight frames. In game three David Calderwood pulled one back for the Slemish when he defeated Kevin Scullion by a 2-0 score line. Chris Adams levelled the match score when he beat Sean Donnelly also by a 2-0 score line. The Hotshots then took the lead when Chris Ramsey beat Joey McNally in straight frames. In the final game Ryan Logan made the final score 4-2 for the Slemish Hotshots when he defeated Alan Smyth by a 2-1 score line.

Fairhill Hustlers 4 - 2 Moat Aces

Derek Dunlop and Ritchie Irwin got the home into a 2-0 lead when they both had wins in straight frames over Jimmy Duffy and Darren Gilmore. In game three Alan Rainey pulled one back for the Moat when he defeated Justin Kilpatrick by a 2-0 score line. Robert Graham restored the two game difference for the Hustlers when he won game four by a 2-0 score line over David Carlisle. Back came the Aces in game five when K.D. Crabbe had a 2-1 win over Paul Hayes. In the last game George McCullough wrapped it all up with a 2-0 win over George Crothers to leave the final score 4-2 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Social Cobwebs 1 - 5 Michelin Masters

Brian Hanna put the Masters ahead when he beat Johnny Holmes in straight frames. In game two Rick McMaster defeated Stephen Holmes by a 2-1 score line to double the score. In game three Alan Armstrong increased the lead for Michelin when he defeated Ricky McNeill by a 2-1 score line. David Armstrong made it 4-0 when he beat Chris McGaughey in straight frames. Jimmy Knowles pulled one back for the Cobwebs with a win in straight frames over Donald Alexander to make the score 4-1. As the Cobwebs only had five players Harry Eagleson had a walkover to leave the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5 - 1 Social Sports 

The Inbetweeners won the first two games both by 2-1 score lines and both had to come from behind there winners being Lee Wright and Gareth Rowe who defeated Ross Hill and Brian Boyd. In game three Dennis Keenan pulled one back for the Sports when he beat Finton Long by a 2-1 score line. Chris Penny restored the two game difference when he beat Adam Gordon by a 2-1 score line and in game five Phil Houston made it 4-1 for Michelin when he came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Richard Campbell. In the final game Dessie Cooper also came from one down to beat Richard Turtle 2-1 to leave the final match score 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Results - Week 15 - Tuesday 6th March 2012

Social Sports 5 - 1 Horse and Jockey

Gary Hillis got the away team off to a good start when he came from being 1-0 down to win 2-1 over May Barr. The next two games were won by the home team when Brian Boyd and Ross Hill both had 2-0 wins over Mark Davidson and Sam McCalmont. In game four Adam Gordon came from behind to win 2-1 against Dean Hill to make the match score 3-1 in favour of the Social Sports. In game five Richard Turtle made it 4-1 when he had a 2-1 victory over Henry Butler and in the last game Richard Campbell finished it off with a win in straight frames over Eddie Maxwell to leave the final score 5-1 for the Social Sports.

The Coach 3 - 3 Diamond Bar

Paul Gray came from being 1-0 down to win 2-1 against Damian White to put the Coach ahead. Declan Heggarty levelled the scores when he had a 2-1 win against Darren O'Neill. Diamond went ahead when Adrian Mann defeated Rodney Shirley in straight frames. In game four Aaron Erwin levelled the match with a win in straight frames over Brendan O'Mullan. In game five Philip McAllister gave Coach the lead when he had a 2-0 win over Chris Gordon to leave the match score 3-2 for the Coach. Unfortunately the Coach only had five players and they had to forfeit the final game to the Diamond to leave the final score 3-3.

Moat Aces 3 - 3 Social Cobwebs

The Cobwebs took the lead through Jimmy Knowles who had a 2-0 win over Gary Mullan. In game two Johnny Holmes made it 2-0 for the Cobwebs when he defeated K.D. Crabbe by a 2-1 scoreline. Jimmy Duffy pulled one back for the Aces with a win in straight frames over Andy McAlonan but Stephen Holmes restored the two game difference when he beat Martin Hill in straight frames to make the score 3-1 for the Cobwebs. In game five David Carlisle pulled another one back for the Aces when he came from behind to beat Chris McGaughey 2-1. In the final game the Aces had a walkover as the Cobwebs only had five players to leave the final score a 3-3 draw.

Connolly's A 3 - 3 Fairhill Hustlers

Tom Doran gave the home team the lead when he defeated Justin Kilpatrick in straight frames. Tom had an eight ball clearance in the second frame. Joey McNally made it 2-0 for Connollys when he had a 2-1 win over Derek Dunlop after losing the first frame. Paul Hayes pulled one back for the Fairhill when he beat Kevin Scullion in straight frames. Ritchie Irwin levelled the match score at 2-2 when he beat Sean Donnelly by a 2-1 scoreline. In game five Alan Smyth put the home team back in front with a 2-0 win over Robert Graham but in the last game George McCullough levelled the match at 3-3 when he beat Peter Kyle 2-1 after losing the first frame.

Slemish Hotshots 1 - 5 Connollys B

The away team took the lead through Brett McLaughlin who had a win in straight frames over Gary Rodgers. In game two the Hotshots levelled the match score when Chris Adams defeated Pat McAnally by a 2-1 scoreline. This was as good as it got for the Hotshots as Connollys won the four remaining games for a 5-1 win. In game three Connor Connolly had a 2-1 win over Ryan Logan and Barry McLarnon had a 2-0 win over Rodney Cooper making the score 3-1 for Connollys. In game five Ryan Foster defeated Chris Ramsey by a 2-1 scoreline and in the last game Alan Davidson had a win in straight frames over Rodney Fleck to leave the match score 5-1 for Connollys B.

Results - Week 14 - Tuesday 28th February 2012

Michelin Inbetweeners 5 - 1 Moat Aces 

Michelin took the lead by winning the first game through Lee Wright who defeated Jimmy Duffy by a 2-1 scoreline. Gary Ormandy made it two nil when he had a win in straight frames over Darren Gilmore. Finton Long made it 3-0 when he came from being one down to win 2-1 against Martin Hill. In game four the Aces pulled one back through David Carlisle who beat Chris Penny by a 2-0 scoreline. In game five Dessie Cooper restored the three game advantage after he defeated K.D. Crabbe also by a 2-0 scoreline and in the last game Philip Houston had to come from behind to win 2-1 against George Crothers to leave the match score 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

Connelly's B 3 - 3 Coach Bar 

This was a bit of a surprise score and definitely a good result for the Coach. Aaron Erwin put the Coach ahead when he beat Pat McAnally 2-1 after losing the first frame. Brett McLaughlin also came from one down to win 2-1 against Billy Andrews to level the match. In games three and four Connellys won both by 2-0 scorelines when Ryan Foster and Alan Davidson defeated Paul McCaw and Paul Shaw to leave the score 3-1 for Connellys B. In game five Rodney Shirley beat Dean Dunlop in straight frames to leave the score 3-2 and in the final game Philip McAllister earned his team the draw when he beat William Mitchell by a 2-1 scoreline to leave the final score a 3-3 draw.

Social Cobwebs 3 - 3 Connellys A 

Andy McAlonan got the Cobwebs off to a good start when he beat Kevin Scullion in straight frames. Tom Doran levelled the scores when he beat Chris McGaughey 2-0. The Cobwebs won the next two games both by 2-0 scorelines there winners being Ricky McNeill and Stephen Holmes who defeated Sean Donnelly and Peter Kyle. In game five Niall McElroy beat Jimmy Knowles in straight frames to leave the match score 3-2 for the Cobwebs. In the final game Alan Smyth had a walkover as the Cobwebs only had five players and this left the match result 3-3.

Games four and five were also won by the Masters again both by 2-0 score lines with their winners being Alan Armstrong and Donald Alexander who defeated Johnny Laing and Dean Hill to leave the score 5-0 for the Masters. In the final game Mark Davidson pulled a game back for the Jockey when he defeated Harry Eagleson in straight frames to leave the final score 5-1 for Michelin Masters.
