Results - Week 6 - Tuesday 22nd November 2011

Fairhill Hustlers 3 - 3 Michelin Masters

George McCullough got the home team off to a winning start when he beat David Armstrong in straight frames. Michelin levelled the match when Drew Sloan had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Paul Hayes. Fairhill once again took the lead when Derek Dunlop defeated Brian Hanna by a 2-0 score line. Michelin regained the lead by winning the next two games both by 2-0 score lines for a 3-2 overall lead there winners being Alan Armstrong and Rick McMaster who defeated Justin Kilpatrick and Robert Graham. In the last game the home team had Ritchie Irwin who beat Donald Alexander also in straight frames to leave the final match result a draw.

Connollys A 2 - 4 Moat Aces

The Moat Aces got off to a good start when Jimmy Duffy had a win in straight frames over Marcus Westall. Connollys levelled the match with a come from behind win for Johnny Walker over Darren Gilmore. The Moat took the lead for the second time when Chris Dickson had to come from being one down to defeat Sean Donnelly  2-1. Alan Smyth levelled the score again with a win in straight frames over Gary Mullan to leave the score at 2-2. In the fifth game Joey McNally won the first but lost out in the next two to David Carlisle for a 2-1 win and in the last game KD Crabbe settled the match with a 2-0 win over Kevin Scullion for a final score of 4-2 for the Moat Aces.

Michelin Inbetweeners 5 - 1 Coach Bar

The home team took the lead through Lee Wright who defeated Billy Andrews in straight frames. In the second game Gary Ormandy made it 2-0 for Michelin when he beat Rodney Shirley also in straight frames. In the third game Finton Long won the first frame but Paul Gray fought back to win the next two frames for a 2-1 win for the Coach. After this it all went Michelins way with them winning the last three games without dropping a frame. Their winners being Dessie Cooper, Gareth Rowe and Phil Houston who defeated Paul Shaw, Paul McGall and Philip McAllister for a final score of 5-1 for the Inbetweeners.

Diamond Bar 1 - 5 Slemish Hotshots

The away team got off to the better start when they won the first game through Damian Keenan who beat Brendan O'Mullan in straight frames. In the second game Slemish doubled their lead when Gary Rodgers beat Chris Gordon by a 2-1 score line. The third was the same with Gregory Shaw having a 2-1 win against Damian White. Declan Heggarty won the first frame of game four but could not hold out against Rodney Fleck who won 2-1. In the fifth Ryan Logan had a 2-1 win over Adrian Mann to make the score 5-0 for the away team. In the final game Ian Boal saved a whitewash when he came from one down to win 2-1 against Chris Adams to leave the final score 5-1 for the Slemish.

Horse and Jockey 1 - 5   Connollys B

The away team went into a 2-0 lead with 2-0 wins from Pat McAnally and Brett McLaughlin who defeated Eddie Maxwell and Mark Davidson. In the third game Johnny Laing pulled one back for the Jockey when he defeated Connor Connolly by a 2-1 score line. The Horse and Jockey fight back was short lived because they lost the next three games to Connollys B all by 2-0 score lines. There winners being Dean Dunlop, Barry McLarnon and Ryan Foster who defeated Dean Hill, Gary Hillis and Sam McCalmont to make the final score 5-1 for Connollys B.

Social Cobwebs 4 - 2 Social Sports

Victor McAlonan got the Cobwebs off to a good start when he defeated Ross Hill 2-1 after losing the first frame. Andy McAlonan doubled the lead when he beat Dennis Keenan in straight frames. In the third game Stephen Holmes had to come from behind to beat Adam Gordon 2-1. In the fourth game John Grierson pulled one back for the Sports when he beat Chris McGaughey in straight frames. In the fifth game Jimmy Knowles had to come from behind to beat Richard Turtle 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the final game Richard Campbell had a walkover as Cobwebs could only field five players to leave the score 4-2 for the Cobwebs.

Results - Week 5 - Tuesday 15th November 2011

Coach Bar 4 - 2 Horse and Jockey

The Coach raced into a 2-0 lead with two 2-0 wins from Paul Shaw and William Andrews who beat Johnny Laing and Mark Davidson respectively. In the third game the Jockey pulled one back when Gary Hillis came from being one down to defeat Aaron Erwin 2-1. Rodney Shirley restored the two game lead when he defeated Dean Hill by a 2-0 score line. Back came the Horse and Jockey through Sam McCalmont who lost the first frame but won the next two for a 2-1 win over Philip McAllister. In the last game Darren O’Neill came from being one down to defeat Henry Butler 2-1 for a final score of 4-2 for the Coach Bar.

Michelin Masters 5 - 1 Social Cobwebs

Drew Sloan got the home team off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Andy McAlonan. The Masters reeled off the next two games both by 2-0 wins to give them a 3-0 lead. Their winners being Alan and David Armstrong. In the fourth game Stephen Holmes took the first frame for the Cobwebs but lost out on the next two frames to Brian Hanna who won 2-1. In the fifth game Rick McMaster had a win in straight frames over Liam Erwin to make the score 5-0 for the Masters. In the last game Jimmy Knowles saved a whitewash when he defeated Harry Eagleson also in straight frames.

Slemish Hotshots 4 - 2 Connollys A

The home team raced into a 3-0 lead with three 2-0 wins from Gregory Shaw, Gary Rodgers and David Calderwood who all defeated Kevin Scullion, Alan Smyth and Johnny Walker respectively. Connollys roared back by taking the next two games to make the match score 3-2 to the Hotshots, Joey McNally defeated Rodney Fleck and Connaire McAuley defeated Chris Adams both by 2-0 score lines to leave it all on the last game. Amy Logan won the first frame for Connollys but Ryan Logan fought back to take the last two frames for a 2-1 win and leave the final score 4-2 for Slemish Hotshots.

Social Sports 1 - 5 Michelin Inbetweeners

Dessie Cooper gave the away team the lead when he beat Ross Hill in straight frames, Lee Wright doubled the score with a 2-1 win over Dennis Keenan. In the third game the Social Sports pulled one back when Adam Gordon defeated Gareth Rowe 2-1 after losing the first frame. In game four Gary Ormandy restored the two game difference when he beat Richard Campbell by a 2-1 score line. In game five Phil Houston made it 4-1 for the Inbetweeners after he defeated Richard Turtle in straight frames and in the final game Finton Long also had a straight frames win over Brian Boyd to leave the final score 5-1 for the Michelin Inbetweeners.

George McCullough got the Hotshots off to a good start when he defeated Darren Gilmore by a 2-1 score line. Paul Hayes doubled the score when he beat Jimmy Duffy in straight frames. Derek Dunlop made the score 3-0 for the Hustlers when he beat Chris Dickson by a 2-1 score line. In the fourth game K.D.Crabbe came from being one down to win 2-1 against Justin Kilpatrick and pull the score back to 3-1 for the Fairhill. In game five Robert Graham had a win in straight frames over David Carlisle and in the final game Ritchie Irwin had a 2-1 win over Gary Bonnes after losing the first frame to leave the score 5-1 for the Fairhill Hustlers.

Connollys B 6 - 0 Diamond Bar

The home team got off to a flier when they reeled off the first four games without losing a frame the Connollys winners were Pat McAnally, Brett McLaughlin, Barry McLarnon and Ryan Foster whose opponents were Adrian Mann, Brendan O'Mullan, Declan Heggarty and Damian White  respectively. In the fifth game Chris Gordon won the first frame but fell by the way in the next two frames that were won by Dean Dunlop to give Connollys B another win. In the final Alan Davidson came from being one frame down to win 2-1 against Ian Boal and leave the final score 6-0 for Connollys B.

Pat McAnally gave the away team the lead when he defeated William Andrews in straight frames. In the second game Ryan Foster doubled the score when he beat Paul Shaw by a 2-1 score line after this Connollys ran away with the next three games when Brett McLaughlin, Dean Dunlop and Barry McLarnon all had wins in straight frames against Paul Gray, Rodney Shirley and Aaron Irwin. In the final game Alan Davidson defeated Philip McAllister by a 2-1 score line to leave the final score 6-0 for Connollys B.

Results - Week 4 - Tuesday 8th November 2011

Michelin Inbetweeners 3 - 3 Michelin Masters 

Gary Ormandy got the home team away to a good start when he beat Rick McMaster by a 2-1 score line. In the second Brian Hanna levelled for the Masters when he defeated Gareth Rowe also by a 2-1 score line. The Masters took the lead when Drew Sloan beat Finton Long in straight frames (8-ball clearance frame 1). The next two games were both won in straight frames by the Inbetweeners to put them into a 3-2 lead, there winners being Lee Wright and Phil Houston who beat David Armstrong and his brother Alan. The match finished a draw when Harry Eagleson fought back from losing the first frame to win 2-1 against Chris Penney to leave the final score 3-3.

Social  Cobwebs 3 - 3 Moat Aces       

Andy McAlonan had to come from losing the first frame to win 2-1 against Darren Gilmore. In the second game Victor McAlonan made it 2-0 for the Cobwebs when he defeated Gary Bonnes by a 2-1 score line. In the third Chris McGaughey came from behind to win 2-1 against Martin Hill and leave the score 3-0 for the Cobwebs. After this the momentum changed and the Moat Aces won the last three games to leave the match a 3-3 draw all were 2-0 wins for Chris Dickson, David Carlisle and KD Crabbe who defeated Liam Erwin ,Stephen Holmes and Jimmy Knowles all in straight frames.

The home team took the lead when Damian White beat Paul Gray by a 2-1 score line. Aaron Erwin levelled the match when he had a straight frames victory over Adrian Mann. Billy Andrews gave the Coach the lead with a come from behind win against Declan Heggarty to win 2-1. Brendan O'Mullan defeated Paul Shaw in straight frames to leave the score level at 2-2. The Coach took the lead again when Philip McAllister had a 2-0 win over Chris Gordon and in the last game Ian Boal secured a draw when he beat Rodney Shirley in straight frames. Ian Boal had an 8-ball clearance in the frame 1.

Ryan Foster put the B team into the lead with a 2-1 win against David Calderwood. Connolly’s B carried on by winning the next three games all by 2-0 score lines. There winners being Pat McAnally, Dean Dunlop and Brett McLaughlin who defeated Damian Keenan Gary Rodgers and Rodney Fleck respectively to leave the score 4-0 for the home team. In the fifth Chris Adams pulled one back for the Hotshots when he beat Connor Connolly by a 2-1 score line. In the last game Barry McLarnon restored the 4 game lead when he beat Ryan Logan 2-1 after losing the first frame to leave the score 5-1 for Connolly’s B.

Ross Hill got the away team off to a good start when he beat Mark Davidson in straight frames. Adam Gordon made it two for the Social Sports when he beat Gary Hillis by a 2-1 score line. Richard Campbell had to come from behind to beat Sam McCalmont 2-1 for a 3-0 score line for the Sports. Eddie Maxwell pulled one back when he defeated Richard Turtle in straight frames then Henry Butler made it 3-2 when he pulled another one back by beating John Grierson 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the last game Dennis Keenan sealed the victory with a 2-0 win over Johnny Laing for a final score of 4-2 for the Social Sports.

In the fourth Joey McNally pulled one back for Connolly’s when he defeated Derek Dunlop in straight frames.  This was all there was of a fight back as the last two games were both won by 2-0 score lines to leave the final score 5-1 for the Fairhill. There winners being Robert Graham who defeated Alan Smyth and Ritchie Irwin who won against Tom Doran.

Slemish Hotshots 4 - 2 Fairhill Hustlers

Paul Hayes got the away team off to a flier when he beat David Calderwood by a 2-0 scoreline. Chris McCrory levelled the match by beating Derek Dunlop also by a 2-0 scoreline. In the third game Gregory Shaw put the Hotshots ahead when he beat George McCullough 2-1. Ryan Logan increased the lead to 3-1 for the home team when he beat Ritchie Irwin in straight frames. In the fifth game Robert Graham pulled one back for the Fairhill when he defeated Chris Adams also in straight frames. In the last game Rodney Fleck  came from being one down to win 2-1 against Justin Kilpatrick to leave the final score 4-2 for the Hotshots.

Adam Gordon gave the home team first blood when he beat Adrian Mann in straight frames. Declan Heggarty levelled with a 2-0 win over Ross Hill. The Sports took the lead again when Dennis Keenan defeated Damian White also by a 2-0 scoreline. Back came the Diamond when Brendan O'Mullan beat Richard Turtle 2-0 to level the match score at 2-2. For the third time the Sports took the lead through Richard Campbell who defeated Chris Gordon once again by a 2-0 scoreline. In the final game Ian Boal got another point for the Diamond Bar when he came from being one game down to win 2-1 against Brian Boyd to leave the final score 3-3.

Michelin raced into a two nil lead with wins by Gary Ormandy and Lee Wright who both had 2-1 wins over Darren Gilmore and Jimmy Duffy. In the third game Gareth Rowe made it 3 for Michelin when he came from being one down to win 2-1 against Garry Bonnes. In the fourth Alan Rainey pulled one back for the Moat when he beat Finton Long 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the fifth Philip Houston restored the three game difference when he had a win in straight frames over Chris Dickson. In the final game the Moat pulled another point back when David Carlisle defeated Mark Gillespie 2-1 after losing the first frame to leave the final score 4-2 for Michelin Inbetweeners.

Brian Hanna got the home team off to a good start by beating Jonny Laing 2-1 after losing the first frame. Ricky McMaster made it two nil with a 2-0 win over Mark Davidson. In the third game Drew Sloan had a win in straight frames over Eddie Maxwell which included an 8ball clearance in the second frame. David Armstrong came from losing the first frame to beat Gary Hillis  2-1 for a 4-0 lead for Michelin. Sammy McCalmont pulled one back when he beat Alan Armstrong 2-1 after losing the first frame. In the final game Paul McAuley beat Dean Hill by a 2-0 scoreline to leave the match 5-1 for the Michelin Masters.

Andy McAlonan came from behind to win 2-1 over Kevin Scullion and give the Cobwebs an early lead. Victor McAlonan made it two for the Cobwebs when he defeated David Cummins also by a 2-1 scoreline. Connolly's pulled one back when Sean Donnelly beat Chris McGaughey in straight frames to make the score 2-1 for the Cobwebs. In the fourth game Jimmy Knowles restored the two game advantage when he defeated Connaire McAuley by a 2-1 scoreline. Martin O'Loughlin pulled another back for Connolly's when he had a 2-1 win over Liam Erwin and in the final game Stephen Holmes had a 2-1 win over Alan Smyth to leave the final score 4-2 for the Cobwebs.
